Picture Me Kids - The Winner

All the guesses are now in, and the answers are on the website along with the scores.

So you can see who got what right and wrong I've posted a table below.

I have given 1 point for every right answer, even for guessing yourself.

You can see from it that there is one clear winner, Davimad, who got everyone of them right.

So the title of Inspector Clueso goes to Davimad.
And I'm afraid the title of Constable Clueless goes to Duiveltje, who got a score of just 3.

Congratulations to Davimad, and condolences to Duiveltje. You may now put your titles at the bottom of your posts for everyone to see.

Thanks Roger, I'm flabbergasted!

Most of it was pure guesswork but quite a few were right because of the clues. Eeyore's Winnie the Pooh was my favourite (100 Acre Wood) and Mette nearly had me fooled with her spelling of 'favourite' (UK) because she spelled it the US way on the forum.

I was sure everyone would guess me, the clue (uniform) and Popo made me number 9-9-9 =WONDERLAND POLICE!

Look forward to seeing all the guesses Pauline, what a hoot!

Congratulations to Liz for coming in so close and to Duiveltje for her title.

Most of all, I must give a big THANK YOU to Pauline. You have made this contest very enjoyable for all of us, fantastic job of the web site too.

And condolences to Duiveltje (It's a mystery why it wasn't me. Most of my guesses was just that...guesses)

I like the fact that I allmost fooled M.A.D. by my spelling. It was strictly by accident

In Denmark we learn UK english in school, but most of what I read is in US english. This results in an allmost total random way of spelling the words with two options

I was negligent in my congratulations by not sending a HUGE THANK YOU to Popo for her work. It takes a long time and it's a lot of work to put all this together, and she deserves to be recognized for it.

Oh that was fun, can't wait to go pair up the right ones. I knew the 9....9....9 was a clue but I just went brain dead.

Well that was fun! Congrats M.A.D. and thanks to popo for setting up the contest and the web site.
I think I had M.A.D down correctly at one time because of the uniform, but the numbers led me somewhere else...I can't remember why. (It's 911 here in the US for Emergency)
I am embarrassed to have been bested by littlejg, who knew right away who about half were, and then just assigned the remaining numbers in descending order to the rest! (He will not let me forget this!)

Thanks everybody. I really enjoyed doing this. Made a nice change from modelling, swimsuits or otherwise.

If I can find all the guesses, I'll post them, so that you can see who people thought you were.

I'm really impressed by littlejg's guesses. You'll have to keep an eye on him jg, or he'll be taking over from you.

Btw folks, I don't have a mark on my face. The photograph was very badly marked, it is quite old after all!

Little jg, you are giving gran a run for her money.

My guesses were as follows...

Malc, had to be you with the poser clue. Haven't you kept us scratching our heads from day one?

Roger, I know Peegue is your favourite character and nobody else could have that cheeky smile.

Duiveltje, the flat green country did it for me. Lovely shiney cherub face btw.

Little jg, I've seen your picture before so this was easy for me.

Eeyore, I have said before about your clue. 100% sure this was you.

Jan, The white Christmas clue gave it away but I still wasn't convinced.

JG, this was a toss up between you and Popo.

Popo, you won the toss because of the obvious UK picture, and the swimsuit.

Cat, 100% on this one too Kathy. The biker babe picture gave it away.

Liz, New Brit on the block had to be either you or Lillian.

Robbie, I just knew this was you. The dolphins did it for me!

Mette, although the spelling made me unsure, I picked you out simply because the photo wasn't very old and neither are you!

Salin, another 100% sure because of those brilliant levels you and hubby used to make.

Lillian, a toss up between you and Liz until I thought about the 'flamey things'.

Now you all know how I made my deductions.

This has been great fun and has helped to take my mind off other things.

Maureen, you can share the other glass on champagne with Pauline! I knew the puss in biker boots would give it away to you. I thought a lot more of them would have guessed me. I didn't know of a really good description for me. I asked Popo, for help.

I tried to figure out the 9.9.9 but couldn't figure that one out,our code for police and emergenies are 911. So that is why I didn't guess which one was you. I didn't know that you where a nurse before so that threw me off.

Malc gave a easy description, everyone knows he makes the poser levels.

And on Duiveltje, I didn't know her name was Rose so that really threw me for a loop.

I knew Roger's favorite was Peegue and his hat.

Mette was easy, I knew she liked reading Steven King novels!

And Robbie was easy because of the Back Up Mate!

Popo was just a lucky guess.

Little JG, I had the feeling that I guessed him right.

You must have missed some of the discussions Kathy. There has been a lot of chat over the past year, hard to keep up with it. A lot of gibberish has been spoken, mainly by me.

I have told quite a lot about myself on the forum, it's hard to remember it all. Who would want to anyway?

Before we know it, the first anniversary of 'Picture Me' will be upon us.
Maybe we should do an update for the new members.

Now that I'm reading some of your rationale, here's where I went wrong

Duiveltje - I thought M.A.D. (green countryside, red face..... bad guess on my part!)
littlejg - I had the right picture, 50-50 chance from there, and I usually lose at those

eeyore31 - I'm afraid I don't know anything about Winnie the Pooh
Popo - strictly a lucky guess on my part
JG - maybe I should've guessed it, but I obviously didn't
Cat - I wasn't aware of the biker thing, sorry
Liz - I did pick up on the "new Brit" verbage (what a smile, BTW!)
Robbie - I also picked up the term "mate"
Lillian - no question in my mind with the "flamey" clue

Your clues were almost right, Pauline en MAD, but ........ green en flat is for the netherlands and that was oke. But red through my eyes was for my name "duiveltje". It is the dutch word for devil and thats were the red is coming from. I didn't think about red en Rose, but that is also possible. A lot of clues had english words with a special meaning and that's was what I misssed. So 3 guesses right ......... it's a shame.

But I am now very interrested how you al look now. And MAD I am about 46 years older now but I am still almost the same hahahahahahaha

Salin - I thought you were Eeyore because of the blue clue. I figured Salin could be read as saline which is kind of blue. I read that you were married, so I figured that Salin was your husband's last name

I also figured the hundred acre wood could be in Norway

I didn't know the english names for all the Whinnie the Pooh stuff

The rest was just wild guesses, and they were all wrong

I haven't played any of the custom deluxe levels yet - that might have helped me out, but I'll get to it eventually I hope

As a relative newcomer, I had to do a fair bit of reading on the forum to work out who people were. It was my American geography that let me down. I saw that JG lived in North Dakota, which I imagined to be a desert region

- this is what threw me with the White Christmas clue.

It was such fun, and I too would like to see how we all look now!
