Ohhh no.....what have I started here :!: But you are all really good at this "bad spelling" thing - being a Dane I don´t think I will give you a taste of my bad spelling......hmmmm, maybe I allready have....come to think about it *LOL*

BTW, have you seen my post about wanting to help 922rita from Germany? It´s frustrating not to be able to help her :( Will you give it a try guys :P Don´t worry about the language, I can write to her in german.

A BIG smile from "translating Lise" :P

I saw that, but I have no idea how to help. If no one else does, I would suggest emailing Midnight Synergy (infos@midnightsynergy.com)

Does the research at Cambridge university give a reason if you can't read it? I had to read it for my husband, Nev. :?

He blamed it on only just having got up, but I had only just got up too.

I am always pulling my son Tim up for his atrocious spelling. Now it seems it doesn't matter.

My husband and both my kids have dyslexia. At school they were all put down as stupid, because of the spelling problem. :x I showed them Lise's post and they could all read it because the letters get mixed up in their brains anyway. 8)
They all have the kind of brain that makes speedy connections and can see overviews of things. It would be great if there was more leeway given for different kinds of learning and thinking.

I'll get off my soapbox now.

Liz - I find that most interesting! And I agree fully with your "wish". There SHOULD be more leeway within our varied systems which are
too concerned with memorization as a learning mechanism. I guess I
prefer building on abilities rather than squelching disabilities.

Hope you don't mind I borrowed your soapbox briefly.
