Stinkered, a Stinker name generator (1.1 released!)

Post by Blast!10 » Fri Sep 25, 2009 12:10 pm

Quick Scroll: Version 1.1

Generate up to 896 different names for your custom Stinkers. Just a random, pretty useless tool I made for fun.

Won't work for me. I get an error saying:

"To run this application, you first must install one of the following versions of the .NET Framework:
v2.0.50727

Contact your application publisher for instructions about obtaining the appropriate version of the .NET Framework."

D-P. or not.

Version 1.1 is now available, and allows 9,486 different combinations - more than ten times as much as 1.0! Also, two names have bad words and have been censored, and all names are capitalis/zed now.

Some names it generated are below...
Clousic, Sheelzen, Mutsy, Xooric, Zeeldy, Clealbin.

I'll try to make sure a newer version can generate the name "Jedlic". I'm pretty close, 1.1 can generate Jeeric...

Install the latest .NET framework, which can happily be found on microsoft.com

YAY! A NEW VERSION!

Not the latest version of the .NET. It must be 2.0.50727; likewise, 2.0.50727 won't run 1.1.4322 applications.

Yay! It worked!

The first 10 names it generated are:

Toupen, Zlusen, Sheelcin, Roory, Toucic, Bleelten, Realzic, Sleezen, Loulsy, Beeltsic.

How do you use this thing?
Remember to look at the dates that every post is made. It's been many years, and I, and others, may not be the same people we were when we made them. This is a symbol of where we came from, and should be remembered as that.

Why should we need a certain version of that just to use your program? And why is it needed anyway?

Because. :P

I think I know how to disable the requirement, but that would also make the program ugly.
