an expedition deeper into the Forbidden Forest!!!!I'm thinking more of the lines of a separate series, e.g. "Tales of Wonderland". The framework would be an elder Stinker reading from the great book of Stinker Stories to a bunch of wee Stinkers. Each story would be a self-contained game. E.g. one story could be what happened when a group of Stinkers returned to the Creepy Keep. Another could chronicle an expedition deeper into the Forbidden Forest.

Seriously, Patrick has done more than enough awesome Wonderland programming. Let him relax and then he will get to work when he's ready.

Patrick, I wanted to help..
Is it ok if i could spread some few words to my amaranthian friends,
and especially Amanda? I could request her your games but,
She requires you to post a game on Plimus or Bigfish, since you already posted in bigfish, I may have to find some games of yours and share it on Amaranthia, everyone there would be thrilled to play the game ^^..
And I want to request,
At WA3, I don't think Chaptering is a best way, because it'll make you wait and the game maker has to fill you in for a long time just enough to make the players satisfied in waiting, so i really suggest that to stick with your old game making and forget worrying about the Chapterization..
i'm sure Amanda will sell $40 if you added the 4 chapters she is about to complete...

Also new powers such as Boom, (power to throw a magic fireball on the place and Explode 3x3 square of land) Shock(Make the Enemy more Harmful if not used very well and can kill Water-Type Z-bots XD), And also Splash(Shoots out waters to Enemies (well it's all kinds of Robots so it could kill any tipe except the water type..)..
there's more we could think for you...(Because Imagination is Endless)

I keep popping in to see if there is any new news, quite happy to wait another year if it means the game is as good as the last. All I ask is for a months notice so I can book time off work - wonderland & work don't mix.
Well heres to waiting patiently and all the best to Patrick with the developement. Time to go and spread the word of Wonderland.

I have recently found and installed a product on WonderForum. It is a download product, and it might help MS develop the level commenting system.

(PS You can't download/upload because it is only a test)

I read the about half the previous posts, and this is my idea for WA3:
Add an option to the WA editor to have "Simple Mode" or "Complex Mode." The simple mode wouldn't have as much extra options as the current editor, like subcolor. The current editor would become the complex editor. The simple mode would get more people interested in the WA editor. Then ask creators of good levels that are put on the forums to make levels for WA3. Make a WA3 editor (simple and complex modes) with more stuff, and have these creators make levels. In the meantime, you make the HUB. Tie the custom levels into the hub, and you got WA3. Just add storyline.
Anyways, that's my idea.
Edit: Don't forget to build the simple and complex level editors in, and allow custom levels to be played from the game, like in RTW.
Also, have the complex editor have a hub editor with it, so the complex editor can be used to create big adventures; the simple editor would just be used for one stage puzzles that aren't part of a story.
That's the continuation of my idea.

For me the hubs,
You should make a WA hub Editor.
It should induces a Master Editor,
more stuffs,
adventures Stars,
and Hub Level Editor.
I didn't live ANYWHERE in the world!

That's actually pretty close to what I'm thinking of doing - keep a lot of the advanced options hidden for the novice user, and streamline/simplify the interface so that a first-time user can put together a quick test adventure without too much trouble.quick11 wrote:I read the about half the previous posts, and this is my idea for WA3:

OH GOD YES YES YESMidnight Synergy wrote: Project #2 - Return to Return To Wonderland
No, that’s not the real title. But I am toying with a return to the original game series. Here are a few of the ideas that I had in mind:
* integrate a new level upload/download/comment system that could be linked to from within the game. Potentially a complete re-vamp of the player community.
* adding new puzzle elements (obviously), including some fairly drastic ones. I’d love to include the idea of multi-level puzzles (with stairs, elevators, etc) connecting multiple levels. This, however, would lead to a number of design problems that would need to be dealt with.
* updating the graphics - allow for visuals closer to Wonderland Adventures. I have a few ideas to do this without the necessity to make the editor any more complicated.
* keeping everything backwards compatible to the original games. In fact, allow the “import” of levels from WSW and TOW, for people who own the full versions, so that you could replay the “advanced” versions of all of those levels from one single program.
I must stress that not a single line of code has been written for this (and may never be). But I certainly keep getting back to this idea in my mind.
Regarding each asterisk respectively
*That would be amazing! Possibly the best and most unique idea yet - I love it.
*Yes.
*Yes.
*YES!!
Oh, my god. The only thing that could be better than this is by keeping this idea and making it multiplayer, so that up to four people can play as either Stinky, Loof, Qookie and Peegue together.
Coop for puzzle solving or... DEATHMATCH!!!Oh, my god. The only thing that could be better than this is by keeping this idea and making it multiplayer, so that up to four people can play as either Stinky, Loof, Qookie and Peegue together.
Really, this could be interesting on properly designed levels. Since the players are less dumb than the monsters, it would be very hard to kill any of them actually.
