Remember to look at the dates that every post is made. It's been many years, and I, and others, may not be the same people we were when we made them. This is a symbol of where we came from, and should be remembered as that.

I agree. Nothing wrong with religions and beliefs, but there are too many of them. Tricky puzzles enough in the bible, but if the only possible answer is: "God has said so, so it it is." it's no fun anymore, don't you agree?
So, has anyone a tricky puzzle to post?

If

is A,

is D,

is F,

is I,
then what is this:

Rest in peace, Kym. I hardly knew ya.
Rest in peace, Marinus. A bright star, you were ahead of me on my own tracks of thought. I miss you.

You got one letter right.
Hint: it has something to do with the smilies positioning when you're writing a post. The main table, not the extended one.

Correct!
Logic for the puzzle: put an alphabet over the smilies.

is ABCD. Then fill in the rest of it. Then look up the resulting "table" and you will see the answer.

Not sure whether this one has been asked before...
You're in a room with a stove, a wok, a knife, a match and a powerful bomb (that will detonate within an hour). What do you use
first?

The match if it's dark, otherwise your cellphone when you call an expert to help you defuse the bomb properly without receiving a BOOM in your face.

Your lungs, to take a deep breath, and your brain, to think carefully about how to solve this problem. Or your legs, to run away as fast as you can.

And your brain, because you wouldn't be able to think and would mess up on the whole thing.

Since I don't see a new unsolved riddle here, I'll post one.
You have a hexagon, with a vertex at the top. (see attachment.) Add EXACTLY THREE lines to make six SQUARES.

I don't believe that's possible. You even need to add three lines to make only one square, because there are no 2 lines in the hexagon with can be part of the same square, unless you make them longer.
To make the leftmost vertical line part of a square you need to add one vertical line and 2 horizontal lines. With those same 3 lines you can also make a square with the right side vertical line, so you can make 2 squares by adding three lines. But then the 4 lines at 60 degrees are not part of any square.

I think it's a mistake. And it's not square but rhombus.
You CAN make 6 rhombuses, but I don't think you can make 6 squares.

Each face is a square, and there's 6 faces.

@Nobody; yes, that's why I said "SQUARES". -_-

I see. The "out of the box" way is to change it into a 3-dimensional object. But Muzozavr is right if you keep it just 2-dimensional you can make 6 rhombuses by only 3 lines.

Well, that's a nice puzzle then.
What deluded me is that I thought of that solution but with all the lines continuing to the opposite side. Then you could make 6 rhombuses (because if you look at each of these "squares" as two dimensional object they're rhombuses)

Well, I'll post a riddle, then.
A car racer was badly injured in an accident. Both his legs broke, and his shoulder was also injured. He was hospitalized for 8 weeks. And then, the racer participated in a race without any fear. This wasn't a very special act of courage. Can you explain this?
