And is your mom also just the egg's way of making another egg?

I think there's no correct answer to that question. It's just a continous circle like day and night, summer and winter etc.

In THIS case, there is a correct answer though.

Yes, that's true, but I think it's the same story as about the end of the world; it depends on what you believe, creation or evolution. If you believe in only creation, the answer would be: chicken. But if you believe in evolution, it's the egg.

Since there is no evidence for either theory, the correct answer can not be given.

But of course it's "Tricky puzzles" so you may have some tricky out of the box answer. 8) Anyhow, I will wait patiently for you or someone else to give the answer. :)

the egg.

You said COMES and not CAME and so it's not about which first came to the earth, it's about the growth. At First you're an egg, then a chick, then a Chicken.
Remember to look at the dates that every post is made. It's been many years, and I, and others, may not be the same people we were when we made them. This is a symbol of where we came from, and should be remembered as that.

I believe the Chicken came first after forming via bacteria like we did. Eggs were only necessary for new Chickens after that.

Well if I was a bacterium I would try to make an egg first. I think making a chicken is much more difficult.

Since you were talkin about "forming via bacteria like we did" I guess you believe in evolution. And as far as I know, Darwin's evolution-theory says that all life on Earth has become from one single cel.

Well, all human or animal life (not only chickens) starts as one single living cel: the egg-cel. So I think Darwin would say the egg was first. But again, it depends on what you believe.

AJQ I think it's time for an answer, or at least a hint.

Actually, it's really quite simple. Since I did not mention "the Chicken" or "the Egg", it does not refer to the chicken egg; as reptiles appeared on earth far before the animal known as the "chicken" did, and reptiles lay eggs, the egg came first. :)

Next question:
How should you put 13 cats in 11 baskets such that all the baskets are filled, no cats are left out and each basket has exactly the same number of cats? Assuming that you are given just the cats and the baskets, no other material is provided.

(Cats as in the feline, basket as in the container)

It still depends on what you believe. People who believe in creation may say that all animals were created first, and then eggs grew inside them. 8)

About the cats in the baskets; are all the baskets the same size?

Then I think the easiest way is to use 11 baskets with all different sizes, that each basket fits in the bigger one. 11 Baskets in each other, with all 13 cats in the smallest basket.

Cut the cats into smaller pieces and put them in the baskets.

Or, alternatively, a non-violent way could be to feed the cats pieces of the baskets. :P

This is kinda cryptic, so if it turns out to be too hard, I apologize.

Well, only reading the capitals would be easy, and I can't imagine that's the entire puzzle. Otherwise I've no idea. :?

BTW anyone heard of AJQ? Still curious about the cats.

The first line is the clue. The second line, properly messed with, is the answer.

Now you have all the information needed to solve it. :P

The way you work the answers into your posts in such a way that others don't see it is just... !!!

Well, anyway, it's your turn.

P. S. Oh, and if you think that was cryptic, don't even look at Inward Hellix.
