Shoot! (photography term, not guns)

Post by Blast!10 » Mon Feb 22, 2010 3:34 pm

This thread is for creative photos you have shot. (to clarify - this is not a forum game.)

Rules:
1. The photos must be photos shot by you or someone you directly know. This means
  • No frames from movies.
  • No photos from Google Images or any other site.
This rule is to prevent any copyright infringement.

2. No computer editing! No Photoshop, no Paint.NET, no GIMP, nothing, except for auto level, auto color, and auto contrast settings.

Here's a photo I just took, of a ghost. Again, I did absolutely NO Photoshopping, except for the auto level setting.

You may now guess how I made the photo, but you don't have to.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

You stood so there was a shadow of yourself and you adjusted the auto level to make the shadow look 3D, like a ghost. :P

That can't be, because "adjusting the auto levels" is an oxymoron. The auto levels tool automatically adjusts itself.

Very long exposure rate. You stand there for half the exposure rate then simply run out of frame.

That or you made a drawing on a piece of transparent plastic and attached it to the camera.
Rest in peace, Kym. I hardly knew ya.
Rest in peace, Marinus. A bright star, you were ahead of me on my own tracks of thought. I miss you.

Muzo, your first answer was correct! 13 second exposure in a dark room. :D

I hardly know anything about cameras, so I doubt I'll get any of these.
