Minecraft - where "blockhead" is a good thing

I am sorry but WonderServer might be unstable today as I am working on some rollbacks and changes. I will let you know when WonderServer is stable again.

My computer can't run these files or tries deleting System32 of my hard drive (System32 is real Major to keep it running I think.

Also, WonderServer server maintenance has just ended, WonderServer should be up and running again today.

Didn't see this topic! Minecraft is one of the games I follow avidly, can't wait until Survival Multiplayer server software is released next week.

When SMP is out WonderServer Minecraft will follow this schedule:

-Immediately release WonderServer Minecraft Survival Multiplayer Server

Now depending on how the survival multiplayer client will be released:
Creative update? SMP client can connect to current creative? Action
Y Y 1
Y N 2
N Y 3
N N 3

(Copy that into Microsoft Excel for a clear table)

Action 1:
-Add support for new block that does not currently serve any purpose (e.g Diamond ore) and possibly survival worlds
-Add support to Inventory, basic crafting (only support Chest crafting if possible)
-Add support to complex crafting, furnace and the brand new attach-to-block items (e.g Torches, Rails, etc) (possibly armours too)
-Add support to attach-to-rails/water items (boats, carts) and add them inside physics or inside a brand new module, add portal and message blocks support to those items
-Finally SMP physics/Myne physics(/classic physics) switch for worlds
-(Not really possible) Infinite map support (this would change the way blockstore works, so I don't know)

Action 2:
-Split into 2 servers, one for creative, one for SMP. Mod Myne to work with SMP, and do the updates in action 1.

Action 3:
-Basically Action 2, but no updates for creative.

That's all for the roadmap. Nothing here is promised as the coding bit is not done by me, it is just a reference.

What's that roadmap for? I'm not really following, don't know anything about WonderServer. Is it a project you and other people (like the ones who are doing the "coding bit") are working on?

WonderServer is just the name of the MC Server Tyteen's got set up. It's running some custom software (changes sand/gravel physics, has portal blocks, other stuff).

Bought game a while ago. If you want to cheat, use NBT Forge on it. It opens indev and alpha maps. I did and made heaps of iron and diamond blocks. Oh and my name on Minecraft is the same as the one I have on here.

I just bought minecraft alpha, but when I downloaded it it is a 'file' not an 'exe' like the web site says. Windows asks me what program I want to use to open it.

Help?

Right-click on the link and before you save it, save it with the name "minecraft.exe" without the quotemarks.
