My sister who has always been very houseproud had a friend visiting one day, this was years ago before she had any children.
This friend had the wildest kids ever and they were wrecking the house, my sister gave them a telling off and told them to behave. Her friend said quite cheekily to her. "Wait until you have kids, the house won't be so perfect." As quick as you like, my sis replied. "My children will fit into my life, not me into theirs."
And it became fact, she is the best mother in the world but still has a perfect house. That's where I got that wee snippet from.

My description of Bear.
He is 6' 6'', has ginger hair, knobbly knees which poke out from under his kilt (which he wears with braces - that's suspenders for those in USA - over a t-shirt), and bovver boots. His hobbies include frequenting pubs, saying 'See you Jimmy', and tossing his caber.
Or am I thinking of Russ Abbot?
