I'll start by this clip I've just found of Digimon Tamers. (subtitled)

Contrary to the title of the video, Digimon WAS a kids show... but Tamers (third season) was a kids show written by Chiaki J. Konaka... so, on occasion, stuff like THIS happens:

I've watched this out of context and it's still a scary scene. Especially the "no face" shot and the second-to-last shot when everything just warps and everyone chants "fate, fate, fate..." just... wow. Digimon Tamers is a kids show that decides there's no reason NOT to go creepy when it needs to! 8)

Dammit, now I feel like I have to watch it. :lol:

haha awesome. I totally forget most of what I watched in Digimon, but I would watch it again.

..and now she grows up to be Madotsuki. :lol:
