was there Meet and Greet section when forum started?

But what if that topic was originally in a different forum then once as the meet & greet section was created that topic was moved there?

Then there was a M&G section, but not a M&G subforum. But I think that's not very likely, because a few months later there came more "I am new"-topics. Look at the last page of M&G.
