Alright, then what are they going to be? People are going to remain skeptical if you don't explain any further.

Also, prohibiting people from joining just for having a certain version of Game Maker is rather cruel in my eyes - not everyone has the money to buy it. At the very least, include a separate category for GMLite, maybe?

This seems rather fun and I might compete in making a game or 8-Bit music (using a secret program of awesomeness).

However:
1. Even though it's all about having fun and winning, it would still be nice to tell the prizes to encourage more people to join and try their best.
2. I agree with ~xpr'd~, there should be at least 2 or 3 judges.

I agree with almost all of you.

If you don't tell anyone what the prizes are, what if someone does their best and then all they win is a moldy pancake or something? Nobody will want to join when they don't know what the reward is.

Plus, you really should add a place for people with GML because some people (like me) really can't afford those few extra dollars to buy GMP.
