I made a duplicate topic because xprd said I could.

Minecraft is a game where you destroy and create blocks.( and also fight monsters, make tools etc etc)

There is a really cool survival server I play on called Veopress. We only have about 15 people and are a fun little community if anyone here wants to join.

There is a free version of the game, but the full version has much more features.

Once our router gets fixed I'm going to start hosting my own Alpha SMP server for this forum.

I remember when there was no survival, and no bricks/bookshelves/obsidian in multiplayer creative. I love how many people play Minecraft now, and feel happy for Notch. It's cool to see an indie developer do so well.

Yes. Press the Escape key, go to "Options", and go to "Controls" then change them.

I got the full version not too long ago and it is AWESOME.
My computer lagged when my island got overrun by livestock.There was like 20 animals.
One time i was mining coal and a creeper snuck up on me and exploded.

>Enter random cave and look for an unlit branch if I've been there before
>Light it up while mining random minerals, fighting mobs as I go
>Prepare to leave with tons of stuff
>Random ninja Creeper asplosion kills me

Finally upgraded to Windows 7, which means test launch of WonderServer SMP!

It runs on CraftBukkit, and has a few plugins installed. Map originally by pouffle, extended by me.

To get to the server simply enter the following details:
(To protect my IP I had to make you do maths - sorry!)
100+83.113+65.300-100+6.Fourty Five:The first 4 digits of e

Remember, this is only a test run, so bugs WILL still be here. Just be patient and send me a bug report.

On itunes I found some Minecraft apps for iphone, ipod touch, etc. I'll add the free minecraft app to my ipod when I have time after making part of epic gmod comics. If I like it, next time I buy an itunes gift card, I'm gonna buy it for sure.

dp. That minecraft app was actually a guide thing about crafting stuff. The actual app was best for iphone and I think would lag on the ipod touch

It's just a map editor, and is something like classic. It's a rip off anyways.

Entering port 31415 leads to classic server, entering 2718 leads to SMP server.

I want to create buildings and stuff and make my own worlds on a flat surface. Is there a possible classic save file I can get that has a full open space kinda like in the other screenshots?

Not that I know of, but I think there's a map called "CleanRoom" or something that may be like that.

I cave spelunked for four hours today. I must have crushed at least 80 Mobs. It was fun! You peaceful people are really missing out; Caves actually aren't scary once you get used to them.

Yes I finally have a flat map for MineCraft Classic! There was this project I was planning to do which is a recreation of Runescape. I'll set it up soon.
