My (AWESOME) Anime

Post by Technos72 »

EDIT: Whatever I put up here, I have removed. And the final series name is Retarded Adventures of Kiyoshi

I've created the characters using AnimeGen, Paint, Game Maker sprite editor, and Paint.NET. If you saw my locked anime topic, there was Kiyoshi Nishi who is a main character of the series and a technician. I have managed to remake him on AnimeGen. Then there's Yumi Utada, then the new oneson this thread, the cool dude guy Shuya Hideki, and my latest character finished yesterday, Nuriho Soriyu. I didn't think up most of the bios for these characters. I'll do it someday.

AnimeGen was used to make most of the characters, it has a large percent of female material than male. So I used image editing programs to tweak the males. I also used the programs to make stuff not available in AnimeGen. Certain things were hard to do, so the male characters may look a bit girly.

Well, at least their hands look better than Ryukishi07's lolhands in the original Higurashi VN art:

http://2disbetterthan3d.files.wordpress ... ashi12.jpg

Though the facial expressions are great. In particular, those crazy EYES in the first arc... they're there on this picture... hehehe...

I think you mean manga instead of anime though: there's no way you are going to actually animate the WHOLE THING, it's too much work. Still, it's anime-themed, so I guess that's what you meant.

Yumi Utada's hair makes her look a lot like Rika Furude...
Rest in peace, Kym. I hardly knew ya.
Rest in peace, Marinus. A bright star, you were ahead of me on my own tracks of thought. I miss you.

But I think there is a way to make a simple anime video. This is what I'm planning

- Use expression images from AnimeGen
- Microsoft sam, mike, mary voices at different pitches
- Use of Sony Vegas

To make animation easier, I just have to use expressions and not body actions and stuff like that. I'll make a sample video someday and you'll see.

I think that'll turn out looking more like dialogue from a VN, i.e. where their mouths move & positions cross-fade, but not really real animation. Sounds like a cool idea all-in-all though, & neat character designs!

I was bored.

On-topic, I like where this is going, but from your description it does sound more like a VN with animation than anything else. Regardless, I'm interested.

Wait, I just noticed this:

Microsoft sam, mike, mary voices at different pitches

If you're going to use voice synthesizers, it's highly preferable to find something more professional than these.

I developed a lot more characters here in 2011 and I kind of forgot to tell you about a few. I made 6 new characters for the Retarded Adventures of Kiyoshi series, but five are shown. I'll make the other two, shown in the preview pages of the comic, later. I'll tell you the names and the page number all characters so far start to appear.

Kiyoshi Nishi starts at page 1
Yumi Utada at page 3, as you saw a long time ago
Shuya Hideaki at page 9
Nuriho Soriyu at page 10

The following are shown in the comic but not here. page preview locations are shown too

Izumi Toshie - starts at page 35 - on the preview page with Fluttershy's final smash
Shijo Matsuki, the smart character - on the preview page where he and Kiyoshi spin the "noob wheel"

The following are shown below and in order of the pictures.

Kimi Nishi, Kiyoshi's sister - starts at page 40
Miki Namika, the Pinkie Pie-like character - starts at page 43
Ryou Shiroi, the mean character - starts at page 117
Shiyoki Shini, she was supposed to be "evil kiyoshi" but I have a better name. It's Kiyoshi's name reversed, in japanese symbols that is. She comes from an alternate world called thraE. She starts at page 48

For a chrasmist gift, an updated Yumi, and a new character Namiko Hirose. I'm not going to say her role. But I told her to appear in Retarded Advnetures of Kiyoshi somewhere in February, hint hint.

Merry Animas
