Welcome to the forum Ice. Glad you choose a short nickname, since your username is so long.
Ice's signature wrote:"For light to exist, darkness must be present."
Interesting, but not true though. "Darkness" is nothing less or more then "absence of light", just like "cold" = "absence of warmth", "silence" = "absence of sound" or "nothing" = "absence of something".
The words: darkness, cold, silence and nothing only thank their existence to the words which's absence they stand for. They actually mean nothing themselves.

Yes, but:
the absence of darkness = permanent absence of light
With no darkness, we would be blinded, never to see again.
With no light, we would be only be able to see when light returned.

Doesn't make any sense to me.
Since darkness = absence of light, means that:
the absence of darkness => the absence of the absence of light => the presence of light. That's quite different then "permanent absence of light"

Without darkness there would be light everywhere.

My quote seems to have caused an argument.
The true meaning of this actually is that good cannot exist without evil somewhere in the world.

Darkness is the absence of light.
Darkness is the absence of an amount of light.
"Since Darkness is defeated, the entire world is put into a violently bright light!
Bad Ending #121 discovered!"

Except darkness is essentially nothing.
And don't use Wefight to try to "prove" your point, because it's not accurate on anything, like, at all.

Nope, it's not a Wizard101 quote. It's a Criminal Minds quote.

Not really. (Just forgetting about Deeman's nonsense) I'ts just that as far as I can see about light and darkness is not true. About good and evil, is just the question, because too many people are talking about them and too many people have too many different opinions about what's good and what's evil. As long as no one has good definitions of them, it doesn't say much to me.
