Of course, my Dad is having library computer classes, and I'll need people to test this game. This game is going to be PERFECT.
Demo 1 later.
Edit by Qloof; removed poll as it was unnecessary, please don't do that

Awesome, I can type but I only use 2 fingers. This'll help.
Nice key sprites, by the way.

Thanks! Anyways, the hardest sprite to make -currently- is the Shift key. I had to double the size of the key sprite. I might have to triple the shift key sprite just to get the space bar sprite!

Could you use a timing method like 6.8 seconds? It's kinda weird the way you have it right now. :3

Ok, I'm speaking for him...sorta.
It's hard to get seconds in game maker, unless you use sleep. But that can only stop evreything in the game for a bit. GM isn't that great for timing.
He is using GM, right?

Or you could use Alarms. Every 30 steps equals 1 second.
Remember to look at the dates that every post is made. It's been many years, and I, and others, may not be the same people we were when we made them. This is a symbol of where we came from, and should be remembered as that.

On a room speed of 30? So, on a room speed of 50 its 50 steps to a second?
That's useful!

I don't understand. I'm saying that in objects you can use these things called alarms. If you want it to wait 3 seconds before the actions of Alarm # Event, set it to 90. Or if 1 second, 30. And on.

That's assuming the room speed is set to 30. If you set the room speed to 45, then 30 steps would be 0.666... of a second. If you set the room speed to 10, then 30 steps would be 3 seconds.

Ah. That is probably why my time limits aren't working much

Of course, Demo 1 is getting darn close. If you can send me ideas quickly after halfway of Demo progress, you earn a code that if you re-send to me, you could win Beta Testing. :3

What about the "EVERYONE IS A TESTER" tagline you've got going in the title?

Hey Sammy_bro,
I saved your screenshot and made some keyboard keys for you (and your dad) To use!
Keys are only 2 but they are
Enter key
and
Space key (I put the word space on it to for a reasson, i don't know why)
Also, seeing they come in red. I made two alternates for them. Red and green, (will post the yellow if you want. But ill have to make it first)

Sorry for double post but i made more.
Back-Space and Esc (Escape) Button.
The Esc/Escape Button comes with two extra colors.
Yellow and Blue.
Yellow and blue are Menu colors. (Read last line in post)
The normal white green and reds are for the game.
I thought that the menu buttons were blue and that when highlighted they would be yellow.
So yellow is high-lighted/hovered on and blue is not.
(In case you have a menu. if not don't use the blue and yellow unless you want to)

Use sourceforge and SVN so that we can test every tiny change you make.
