140 lbs. I would like to loose about 10 lbs, but I am happy with

In my spare time I adore riding the motorcycle with my husband.
It gives me a chance to get close to him and wrap my arms
around him. I wear jeans and t-shirt all of the time, when I am
riding the motorcyle with my husband, I have on my leather vest
and leather jacket, boots and gloves. do dress up on occassions,
only when necessary. I enjoy playing different games on my
computer and finding fun things on the interent. And writing and
recieving e-mail to and from family and friends
I like the music of Elvis Presley, Neil Sekada,Laughter in the
Rain, Almost all 70's music. Don't like jazz or classical music.
I love animals, but never worked in a zoo and have zero cat's!

Gosh, I hate this bit.
I am 54 years young, 5' 1 and a bit
medium build with one hazel and one dark brown eye. My hair is naturally dark brown but the hairdresser insists on giving me the lighter shades along with some dark blonde streaks. 
I live in County Down, Northern Ireland with my big bad John. Somebody had to take the poor man, you've seen his picture. Nobody else would have him! 
We were never blessed with children but, I had the great fortune to share my nieces and nephews. Kazza, I do live in a white house but it's a 15 year old bungalow (ranch style to our friends across the pond). I adore my animals, they are like children to me. I have two horses, two dogs and two cats, why haven't I got two husbands?
Oh well, never mind.
I love cooking and entertaining, we don't do a lot of that now though.
I mean the entertaining part, John would trade me in for a new model if I didn't cook. I think that's why he married me really.
We have had our fair share of heartbreak but it's brought us closer together. Between us we have lost 12 members of our family in the last six years, the youngest being nine years old.
Don't need to dwell on that now, do we?
I suit my nickname M.A.D. because that's just me, I love a good laugh and will do anything to make people happy. I do have a terrible temper but, I hate the upset I feel afterwards. Some of my friends call me Mrs. Worry Wart. I worry about everybody, John says I worry about having nothing to worry about. If you can understand that one.
I like to keep my house looking nice, favourite place is the kitchen. I designed and John built it, we make a great team so long as I'm the forewoman. I used to work with him on my days off, lots of customers thought I was an auto engineer too. Too many moons ago now.
I think we all love to slop about the house in track suits or whatever, I like getting glammed up to go out. Putting the face on doesn't take so long now, Polyfilla might help.

My description.. I am 5' 2", a little pudgy (yeah right) , have green eyes, short brown hair ( trendy haircut) with blonde weave. I am 53 years old, will be 54 in april. I am usually a little shy, till i get to know you and then im very outgoing, friendly, and love to laugh alot. I am also very funny and always getting told by friends and family that i crack them up. I do have a slight temper if i am provoked, and would defend anyone close to me to the death..I am a very forgiving person(dont tend to hold grudges too long, in less i am really ticked off..) You can usually see me in shorts, no matter what the tempature is, i love t shirts with sayings on them. I dont much care for pants, mostly capris..Do dress up if going out. My favorite color is purple.
I live in a very large city(sorry lillie, no chickens on my streets) Gilbert, Arizona, which is a suberb of Phoenix.Extremely hot here, about 115 degrees in the summer..Wooooooooo hot..
I am an animal lover..Should have lived on a farm!.I have a cat named Misty..My favorite animal is pigs. I used to have a pot belly pig named Pumba..He was the love of my life..My husband used to tell me that i fed the pig better than him..I had to have him put to sleep as he had pig epilepsy..I miss him dearly every day..

Okay…here goes it. I am 39, tall, Sort of thinnish (recent problem which is being rectified), natural hair color is black (Was very-very long but is now Very-Very short with several different streaks of varying colors), eyes range from dark brown to hazely with dark green (mood makes the difference 
), and have been with my very best friend for almost 16 years, married for 11 ½ years…we were not able to have children and would like to adopt one day. We have a lot of nieces and nephews, and several kiddies that refer to us as Uncle/Aunt. Animal lover….or should I say freak! My animals are indoors and spoiled beyond belief. They include a dog (Jasmin), a cat (Tinkerbell), and several fish in a pond outdoors. Had two other kitties that reached old age and passed . I am a neat freak and usually vacuum, sweep and dust daily. Drives my husband crazy …he is a self-proclaimed SLOB! I hate laundry and ironing so I stay on top of it and get it done before there is too much of it…see like I said FREAK! I cannot go to bed with dishes in the sink or leave the house without making the bed.
Hobbies include gardening of all kinds…lots of flowers and veggies and herbs. I prefer everything fresh in my cooking and will only use fresh herbs (nice call Davimad). I do occasionally cater for special events and only by special request (no time to commit). A bit of a wine snob…live very close to the vineyards but not on one (Nice thought Kazza). I belong to a few wine clubs and enjoy going on wine tours and host a few wine parties throughout the year. I am a sewer, knitter, crocheter, I paint and draw (working on a mural in one of the guest rooms now), and when time permits I love a good book. I am also a huge movie freak, Andy and I are going to turn the attic into a media room when the rest of the house is complete. Golf is a passion…exercise daily, love to swim when the weather is warmer (have a pool). Love to travel…Three favorite places on earth are Italy, Disney World and Martha’s Vineyard. And yes I get a very dark tan in the summer…usually in the sun for a day and look like I have been on a beach for 2 weeks. (Nice call Ann)
We have an incredible neighborhood and eat dinner together once a week at one of our houses. Have a very tight knit circle of friends and they refer to Andy and I as the social core. We are the planning center of all activities and usually either host the get together or order the tickets for one. I am in touch with all of my friends on a weekly basis…there is always someone or two or three or...here at any given moment.
I love all kinds of music…love to burn candles, and love to crack jokes, smile and laugh all the time. They call me smiley at work. I have a temper when provoked and I am not afraid to use my MOUTH, which gets me into trouble a lot…and I mean a lot. Andy is usually seen shaking his head at me…as I say “What?” I like to cause a scene…not in a mean way…I love to be at a store and do something that embarrasses my friends. They usually laugh at me and the attention gets drawn to their laughter and I casually walk away…A prankster from the word go. (Nice one Lillian)
I don’t know what to say about school…I have been in school since I was 4…I finally figured out what I wanted to do in my late 20’s and here I am. In about 2 to 5 years I think I should be there…Almost there. I will graduate with a Baccalaureate degree in Clinical Nursing in June and I will jump right into a Master’s degree program (18 months), and I just looked into a PhD program. ), and have been with my very best friend for almost 16 years, married for 11 ½ years…we were not able to have children and would like to adopt one day. We have a lot of nieces and nephews, and several kiddies that refer to us as Uncle/Aunt. Animal lover….or should I say freak! My animals are indoors and spoiled beyond belief. They include a dog (Jasmin), a cat (Tinkerbell), and several fish in a pond outdoors. Had two other kitties that reached old age and passed . I am a neat freak and usually vacuum, sweep and dust daily. Drives my husband crazy …he is a self-proclaimed SLOB! I hate laundry and ironing so I stay on top of it and get it done before there is too much of it…see like I said FREAK! I cannot go to bed with dishes in the sink or leave the house without making the bed.Hobbies include gardening of all kinds…lots of flowers and veggies and herbs. I prefer everything fresh in my cooking and will only use fresh herbs (nice call Davimad). I do occasionally cater for special events and only by special request (no time to commit). A bit of a wine snob…live very close to the vineyards but not on one (Nice thought Kazza). I belong to a few wine clubs and enjoy going on wine tours and host a few wine parties throughout the year. I am a sewer, knitter, crocheter, I paint and draw (working on a mural in one of the guest rooms now), and when time permits I love a good book. I am also a huge movie freak, Andy and I are going to turn the attic into a media room when the rest of the house is complete. Golf is a passion…exercise daily, love to swim when the weather is warmer (have a pool). Love to travel…Three favorite places on earth are Italy, Disney World and Martha’s Vineyard. And yes I get a very dark tan in the summer…usually in the sun for a day and look like I have been on a beach for 2 weeks. (Nice call Ann)
We have an incredible neighborhood and eat dinner together once a week at one of our houses. Have a very tight knit circle of friends and they refer to Andy and I as the social core. We are the planning center of all activities and usually either host the get together or order the tickets for one. I am in touch with all of my friends on a weekly basis…there is always someone or two or three or...here at any given moment.
I love all kinds of music…love to burn candles, and love to crack jokes, smile and laugh all the time. They call me smiley at work. I have a temper when provoked and I am not afraid to use my MOUTH, which gets me into trouble a lot…and I mean a lot. Andy is usually seen shaking his head at me…as I say “What?” I like to cause a scene…not in a mean way…I love to be at a store and do something that embarrasses my friends. They usually laugh at me and the attention gets drawn to their laughter and I casually walk away…A prankster from the word go. (Nice one Lillian)
I don’t know what to say about school…I have been in school since I was 4…I finally figured out what I wanted to do in my late 20’s and here I am. In about 2 to 5 years I think I should be there…Almost there. I will graduate with a Baccalaureate degree in Clinical Nursing in June and I will jump right into a Master’s degree program (18 months), and I just looked into a PhD program. Martha's Vineyard and good friends...Life can not get much better!
Everybody is writing such long descriptions, but although I can be very “wordy” on the computer, there is not a great
deal to say about me. I am rather quiet, sort of shy, much of a loner, and I don’t have a great number of friends.
Doesn’t sound too good so far, does it?

I’ll be 64 at the end of April (does that make me this group's O/G ?) 5’3”, medium build and rather over weight at 155 lbs (11 st. 1 pebble.). I need to lose at least 20 of the lbs. Short, straight natural blonde hair (sorry Kazza, you get half a point for that) that now has more silver than before. There is a silver streak in the front that I’ve had for years, and I like it so I never try to cover it up. My eyes are greenish, greyish hazel. Fair skin, with some suntan. Have worn glasses from age 7, and contacts as well
for the last 40 years. Plan to have eye surgery in the near future. Very casual dresser now that I no longer work - was once a nurse and then changed to bookkeeping. I’m very precise and detail oriented and prefered working with numbers.
Only own shorts, t-shirts, blue jeans and one skirt. I wear very little make-up, only blusher, mascara & lipstick, some days. I do have my finger nails done. I love everything that’s shiny and glitterery so my nail polish - a soft purpley-pink - always has sparkles in it.
I love to walk, and that’s when I really miss being in England. It’s not so good in south Texas - hot, humid and too many nasties waiting to jump up and bite you. Doesn’t stop me though. Also ride a bicycle. Definitely not into housework. Keep it clean and tidy, I like evrything in it’s place, but it’s a great chore and I don’t like it. I cook sporadically, and I guess it’s OK as we’ve both gained weight since I retired. Don’t have time for many other hobbies as I am out in my garden almost every day, weather permitting but I do enjoy reading, English novels, mysteries & medical science fiction, plant books and gardening magazines. I love to play classical music when my husband’s not around to listen - he likes R & B and country , Uuuurgh ! ! ! ! !. Knit baby blankets/afghans and play Wonderland. My newest interest is bird watching.
Have been married to husband #2 for 25 years now and we are very happy. Yes, we do laugh a lot and people seem to think I’m funny - both HaHa and PQliar. I have one 38 yr old daughter. She is not at all well, but unfortunately, although we are very good friends and I love her dearly, I do not see very much of her or my two grand children. My husband has boys and we see his middle son on a fairly regular basis. Some people are very family oriented - some are not. I don’t make any apologies, that’s just the way I am. Have a wonderful rescue cat, who is now 10 yrs old. Can’t say too much about him - he’s perfect, or that’s what he tells us. Since we’ve both retired I’ve learned the joys of procrastination. I never realized before that there’s always a tomorrow to do things. Just means more time to play Wonderland.

This was such a fun Competition. I know how much work Maureen and Pauline must have put into it. THANKS SO MUCH BOTH OF YOU.
It was weird having a clear picture in your mind of people, and then not finding them on the website. Also weird seeing people you were sure of and then being wrong!
Anyway, here goes with my stuff:
I’m 55, (Another April Fool, I’ll be 56 on April 3), fairly tall (5’6”) with shoulder length brown hair and green eyes. Overweight, but no attempt to diet. I like food and wine too much. Love cooking but hate cleaning up – unthinkable to live without my dishwasher.
I’m devoted to my second husband Richard, (who’s gorgeous in every way and is my best friend). I’ve known him 30 years and we’ve been together for 25 of them. My son Joe is 18 (now becoming a great human being) and my daughter Sophie is 15 (she’s been the teenager from Hell for the last 2 years, but we may be seeing some light at the end of the tunnel).
I have 2 crossbreed dogs (Sparky and Misty) who are great exercise, fun and company.
My parents and my aunt are now in their 80s and still fiercely independent, though I do what I can to help them.
I have lots of casual friendships, but only a few close friends. I’m always ready to listen to people’s problems and always want to help.
There are guests in the house nearly every weekend, either our kids’ teenage friends or our friends and relatives. We live in an Edwardian terraced (row) house on 4 floors (good exercise). The house was in a terrible state when we got it and Richard and I spent years rebuilding. I try to keep it clean, but it is messy because we are all hoarders and hate to throw anything away – “This piece of junk will come in useful one day.”
I taught in a really tough area of London for 17 years, but it got too much for me and I would never go back to it. Qualified to teach ceramics, I discovered it was suicidal with teenagers, so switched to business studies – much safer!
I like classical music (but not modern classical), jazz (but not anarchic), rhythm & blues (but not rhymes and beats), early Elvis, the Stones, 70’s stuff.
I love art and ceramics and have lots of it in the house. We had a pottery in the basement of our house, but that’s now the kitchen/living room. I draw and enjoy photography now. Needless to say I am addicted to Wonderland and computers in general.

I married my best friend and soul mate.48 yrs ago this April. I met Tony when I was 16.5 and 6 months later we got married. Yes I was a bad girl and quit school. We have 7 wonderful children whom I adore. They have all left the nest. They have givin me the best in-laws and grandchildren
17 in all.Rangeing from 30 to 5 months, more coming next year.
And we have 5 Great grandchildren. My family is my life.
At one time I could work side by side with Tony, we totally rebuild our
home and two of our childrens homes. Because of bad health I can no longer help him.But I do cheer him on.
When I retired from my job about 10 yrs ago.To take care of my mom & her sister,after my sister passaway at the young age of 56.He was a rock moving them in with us and helping me tend to mom. She passaway 4 yrs ago from lung cancer at the great age of 91.Her sister is still living with us at the age of 93.
My family is my life.

I'm 28 years old. I'm kinda tall (175 cm), overweight by approxmitalely 15 kg, blue eyes, wears contact lenses, never glasses (I hate those), brown hair sometimes short, sometimes long. I only wear a skirt or a dress when I have to, otherwise I'm a jeans and t-shirt person. I rarely dress up.
I have a few (but very close) friends who I would do just about anything for. My family is small with very close relationships. Besides my hubby and his kids, there's only my parrents (recently divorced after 34 years of marriage) and my younger brother.
I like reading (especially Stephen King), maths, crossword puzzles, baking, sports, playing games on the computer, especially Wonderland. I like to stay up late and sleep well into the A.M.s (in Denmark we call it a B-person). I hate cooking, cleaning, gardening, all kinds of housework. The only reason my home isn't a complete mess, is that I'm a bit of a neat freak.
I'm intelligent, meticulos, has a weird sense of humor, likes to help other people and have a tendency to hold a grudge, but try not to. I'm quiet untill you get to know me. Then you'd wish I was still quiet.
I live in a 3-bedroom appartment on the second floor of an apartment building. I would love to live in a house and have some more room. I don't work in a law firm (or anywhere else), I'm currently unemployed.

This part was much harder than I expected! Here goes:
I just turned 65 in February. Hair is light brown with some silver threads among the gold, naturally curly and cut short. Eyes are blue. Weight is around 100-105. Height used to be 5'3", but am now much shorter due to osteoporosis. Had to start wearing glasses about 20 years ago when my arms got too short. I sunburn easily, so generally stay out of the sun even though I live in the sunshine state. Speaking of that, I am one of the few native Floridians, born and raised, although I have lived in Kansas, Iowa and North Carolina while in college or working.
My name is Mary. My board name, Gen, is short for genetics. This was my profession prior to retiring a couple of years ago. I used genetics in both the medical and forensic fields. Now I try to keep current with new developments through the internet and former co-workers. Other time is spent reading for pleasure, mostly mysteries, and with family and friends. Music-wise, I prefer the golden oldies. The only sport I follow religiously is NASCAR, from February through November. All Wonderland series are my relaxation.
At home, I dress casually. Depending on the weather, either shorts or sweats. When going out, dress is either dressy casual or business clothing. Not much into fashion. I never wear shoes at home.
I tend to be an introvert. Don't like arguments, prefer peace and quiet. A teetotaler. Enjoy getting together with family and friends and getting to meet new folks. Also enjoy helping others. I love animals, particularly cats. My last two were 16 and 17 years old when I lost them.
I'm not a great cook, just average (more comfortable in a lab than a kitchen). I used to be a clean freak, but now consider other things more important. The house in not a disaster zone, but it isn't a show place either - just comfortable.

Boy was I wrong, you look more like a nice warm bear.
Your son will do fine and he is very special even if times are stressful in the long run it is worth it all. I have a son with a mild case of cerebral palsy and he lives on his own and has been for 4 yrs. I never thought he would be able to and I am proud of him and his accomplishment.
