Another Easter level - An Easter Egg Hunt! This uses custom houses & models. It uses a couple of signs and both Popo's gazebo and water lily models. The models & houses make the big difference & make it look "Eastery!" You will also see a couple of chocolate bunnies.

A Hole in the Boat

Post by ol'gramma » Fri Mar 25, 2005 7:43 pm

I was waiting to see if there would be some Easter Levels posted  Thanks Majic.
This level is just silly, not grand or gorgeous, but it does have a puzzle I hope might be fun.
I have tried to anticipate every way it can be played..(you little devils  ) and hope I have outfoxed you!
You may wish to restart after reading the opening note, so you can see what is going on from the beginning.

Easter Egg Hunt - really pretty level, enjoyed this a lot

EasterEggs2 - stuck on the second bit, will persevere for now

Hole In the Boat - Ran round for ages being chased by a Kaboom before I sussed it ... very clever, really liked this one.

Thanks Both Kazza :) :)

Good levels all !

I definitely remember the remake from last year (EasterEggs2). I
struggled with the second part of that for ages (as I did tonight!)
It must be somehow related to sokoban. Either that or I need to put
my wig on again.

EasterEggHunt was such a well planned level, and, of course, the houses
and models are extraordinary! Loads of fun to play, the signs are always
fun to read, and the easter egg hunt was in itself a joy for all us "kids".

A hole in the boat - What a clever title!  Took me a few tries,
managed to finally plug the hole and set our little friend free after
collecting all necessary easter eggs. A fun level, small playing field, yet
enough planning was necessary to complete the puzzle.

These are fun and so pretty. So far I've only completed Easter Eggs2. I'm still working on the other two. But they are both fun and I'm enjoying every minute of it. And they are so nice to look at. I am surprised I don't see more Easter levels here. There were so many for Valentine's Day and St. Patrick's Day. Thank you for these wonderful levels Majic1 and Ol'gramma! :D

For anyone interested, here's a cool link to a flash "Happy Hip-Hop Easter"
greeting. Turn your volume up and click the link. (Rated 'G')

I went to this site, and because I am STILL on dial up (NO CHOICE YET - I live in hickville) - it took forever to load; I had a pea green screen, and while it was loading, another page popped up with an ad for the Univ. of Arizona! It finallly loaded, pea green was gone, but when I clicked on it, just more advertising. So I'm not sure what it was you waned us to see. I would try it again & maybe this time it would work, but I'd rather not go through the whole thing again. MY PROBLEM?? I NEED HIGH SPEED! This is what I get for living in the sticks! Thank you, Roger, anyway!!! :D

I am stuck with dial up too, but I saw it and it is hilarious. Thanks Roger.

My daughter had a trained bunny just like that....it chewed thru all the electric cords, and chewed all the rubber buttons off of all the remotes. He liked to sleep on the couch with the cat.

I think you should try again...I had the pea green screen too, and my pop up blocker took care of the pop ups. You have to wait a few seconds, the music will start first. Hit replay after it finishes and you can see all of it from the beginning.
Was it Gene Autry who did 'Here Comes Peter Cottontail'?
All you young whippersnappers stop laughing.

Eggs 2..remember it, had trouble last time, I remembered this time.
Still working on the new one... thanks.

You really had me stumped on this one Roger - I was totally blind as to what I needed to do here! I got a little help from a friend. Then I decided I must need a stronger prescription, because I just couldn't see it! Finally finished it tho - and you're right - you DO have to be quick at the end! Your chocolate bunny was delicious! Thanks!

I must say, I'm impressed. These levels are sooooooo good.

I remember the original majic1, still took a couple of goes before succeeding, my memory isn't what it used to be.

Still working on the second one, very nice models btw.
Get back to you when I suss it out.

Og, this was so well laid out and attractive, just what we've come to expect from you. I did scratch my head at first, then when I got everything in the right order, I took the wrong way out. That was very sneaky, imagine doing something like that!

Roger, This reminded me of coconut ice, (the sweetie) again I had to tickle my brain with the ol' digits (scratch my head) before sussing.
Very sneaky too, this must be sneaky weekend. hee-hee.

Thanks everyone, you have given us some great wee puzzles here. :D

I must've been trying to download this at the same time that you were submitting your new version because I got a message that it didn't exist anymore! Second time, I got the new version.

Anyway - this was a fun level! I loved that chocolate egg. And then trying to remember - now which teleporter was it that had the equipment I needed? Back and forth - lots of fun! Thanks Kazza! :D

I enjoyed this one Kaz, the timer isn't a problem for me cos I play with it off.

I didn't bother with the reflectors btw, a keg did a quicker job of it.

Nicely done and good fun, thanks. :D

Kazza...I haven't played yours yet...I just got it, so I'll be back

RogerWhat a tricky little pink Easter gem this was!
I don't know how many times I started over to FINALLY get the right order. I didn't have any trouble exiting, I picked up the coins in the house at the exit last, and went right in when the gate went down.
This was lots of fun. Thanks.
Majic
You have outdone yourself once again. It was beautiful and a very involved set of puzzles. It took me forever to get to the exit; I know each piece by heart. Truly a great puzzle in every way.

Thanks everyone

UH OH! Maybe I did it wrong? I thought the reflectors were there for confusion - I didn't use them at all! But I was able to complete it just fine.

Aye Aye ... there was a plan f't reflectors but keg was the better option.

I could tease and say "I wondered who would spot it first" but I hadn't noticed myself. Must have been distracted at the time with some chocolate eh?

Well spotted ladies - it matters not, UFO's are always at their best when surrounded by stars and a large yellow 250 points !

Majic1 - if you made it by sprinting - you is brave girl !!

Thanks Lillian! Yup - that one bonus coin is hard to find. I take it you finally found it, tho! :D

And yes, Kazza, I made a run for it in the UFO area. That was the first place I went into, and since I hadn't looked around at the rest of the level, thought that's what I was SUPPOSED to do. I was shocked, myself, when I made it!

One more for the kiddies.

Kazza - your level was loads of fun! Poppin' in and out of here & there,
I finally managed to get rid of all the baddies and pick up all the goodies.

jg - Managed all of yours too, great fun. Even finished the kids level on
my first try! No other kids in the house except me, so I guess it'll just
have to do as such.

Thanks all for a fun bunch of levels!

Thanks Roger for the chocolate bunny and what a puzzle! At first I thought it couldn't be done -- you are one sneaky so and so!

Hi Everyone

Sorry I haven't had time to play any of these levels yet - got guests over the weekend. Made this level very quickly to add to the bunch. It's very easy.

Happy Easter all.
