Spiders aren't insects. The term "bug" isn't just confined to insects but can in fact be any Arthropod, including arachnids, millipedes, centipedes and trilobites.LittleZbot wrote:1. Spiders are not Bugs. They are known as "arachnids."![]()
What bugs do you hate

Awful bugs
You are brave to hold this wasp on your hand.
I'll pick up jumping spiders (redbacked & wolf),
but only for a short time, while the spider is still in a good mood.
I don't trust the other species.
I hate flies and mosquitoes, these should be extinct.
When I was young (~13) I got invited by a pal to take this trip to some
beach in Florida, for a cookout/camping/barbecue; I wore a short-sleeved shirt
and shorts and got attacked by numerous very large furry mosquitoes.
This is the size of the mosquitoes that attacked me.
I still have nightmares, I don't know how I survived.
THis is a typical jumping spider; they're usually safe, and kind of cute:)

Don't go near these next 2 spiders;
These are very venomous. It's safe to pet a rattlesnake.

You are known as a hero if you can have 10-15 of these on you

Just looking at the asian hornet scout reminded me of the time 5 or 6 years ago where I was playing out on the playground and actually saw one of these, either that or some large bee. It freaked the heck out of me and I did not want to go outside for a period of time.
Hope I don't find another one
Here's a bonus video of a hornet like this going in a beehive and starting a commotion
