I don't know much about copyright and I don't know if I need Kooky's permission to use the toaster sprite. He only resized a picture he didn't make and I don't know if I'm infriging his copyright.
Remember to look at the dates that every post is made. It's been many years, and I, and others, may not be the same people we were when we made them. This is a symbol of where we came from, and should be remembered as that.
The toast looks great, but doesn't really fit in. A bit more cartoonish and it's good.
Don't get me wrong, I like how good that toast looks. It just has to fit in more with everything else.

I didnt copy his sprite, i took the sprite he used and made it like the one in game. Ok wait, lemme rethink that...I'll make more toasters anyway, it's actually fun!
No, I meant MYNAMEISKOOKY got it from the Internet.

I didn't plan the elemental powers yet. But I've planned some stuff just now. I'm thinking that there will be elemental splapples to switch with once you recieve them during game progress. These elemental splapples will require elemental energy found from these Elemental Energy Wisps or Elemental Energy Dispensers.
There will be some Elemental Toast that will can only be wounded by it's same elemental splapple. There are also some obstacles that will require shooting them too.
I made a mistake. the garnet toaster was supposed to be a purple one and I thought garnet was the purple gem. But amethyst is. So in the list of toasters garnet is corrected to amethyst
I may get back to working on this as I have another good idea for another fanmade toaster game. But I don't wanna say it to spoil some of you.
I've been planning a complex shop and inventory. This will include different weapons and special objects that can help you. There will be no max splapple or splapple burst increase but the weapons will have their own stats including those plus different style of shooting like shooting faster or throwing splapples up and sending them down by gravity. You can select a weapon from the inventory to use. You can also select smaller weapons later on to use for challenge purposes.
I'll try to make it easier to collect gropples so that when you die, you'll go back to the value of gropples you had when touching the last checkpoint. For example, I have 50 gropples, touch checkpoint, get 10 more gropples, die, I see that I have dropped back to 50 gropples and did not keep the ones I collected after the checkpoint and before I died.
And I've been thinking about this just right now. Have something similar to Super Mario Galaxy by having these portals to other dimensions, just like in SMG, the comets that appear in galaxies are similar to the dimensions you'll go in.
The red dimension is the speedy one like the speedy comet in SMG, you have to complete the level before time runs out.
The yellow dimension is the fast foe one. Enemies and moving obstacles are faster.
The blue one is the cosmic one. You have to race with an evil apple called the Cosmic Apple through all or part of the level.
The grey one is the Daredevil one and you have to do a "daredevil run" through all or part of the level which is having just one bit of health and no health bonuses included.
And the purple one appears when you have completed all levels and before you have to fight the final boss. This is the dimension where you have to collect 100 purple gropples in the level which are no value in shop. Like in SMG when you have to collect 100 purple coins. The level may be timed.
After a dimension level you can break free one green apple that is in the level. Interested?

I was planning on creating many references of popular and personally interesting games for mine. For example there will be an arrow sign showing you're almost done the level like in Donkey Kong Country. There will be different kinds of gems like in the crash bandicoot series. One of them will be the gropple collecting one from ET4. The others are listed
White gems - appear when all gropples are collected
Green gems - appear when all green apples are saved
Purple gems - appear near the end of the level
Red gems - Are seen at the end of Danger Trails. They are trails shown in some levels that can be accessable by teleporter if you don't die in the level.
Blue gems - Seen in few ends of danger trails . Some special areas can be reached by the cost of one gem and the way will stay open forever.
I'm getting into level design and finished the first level. Now to make objects for the second one. Here's an updated gem list
Red - appears at the end of some danger trails
Orange - appearing near end of level
Yellow - Secret/Hard to reach
Green - After freeing all green apples
Blue - appears at the end of some danger trails besides red and can open special paths in some levels.
Inidgo - Appears after an alternate dimension level
Purple - Appeares after a purple dimension level
White - After getting all gropples
And a screenshot of level 1

They're actually the D-smashable pillars. The pillars' looks in ET3 were designed so that red links with blue and green links with yellow. The pillars in this game were designed so that pillars with the same colors than other different ones are known as linked. For example the yellow-green-yellow pillars are linked to the green-yellow-green ones.
