Blockland
-continued from blockland topic in old off topic-
Ok so you know minecraft owns roblox owns blockland. But I have some good information why blockland is still good.
First off Blockland came before Minecraft. Doesn't really make it a ripoff of Minecraft. Probably Notch didn't know about blockland and its similar things about Minecraft (eg. the objects tab at the bottom of screen, and first person controls and stuff). When I tried roblox, building for me is advanced and slower than blockland. Minecraft has no flying feature of what I know of now and also requires you to get materials if you really want to build something fast, which you really wont. But if blockland came out after roblox, I don't really know if it's a ripoff but Blockland's gameplay is better in my opinion.
When I feel like it I'll make a three-way ven diagram for Minecraft, Roblox, and Blockland.

And, as great as SMG is, it's nice to head back to the 8-bit century with SMB.

Remember to look at the dates that every post is made. It's been many years, and I, and others, may not be the same people we were when we made them. This is a symbol of where we came from, and should be remembered as that.

I couldn't find the right word. Century sounded fitting, so I used it.Nobody wrote:8-Bit games didn't even exist a century ago...LittleZbot wrote:And, as great as SMG is, it's nice to head back to the 8-bit century with SMB.

His post seemed to say that games are better if they come out sooner:Qloof234 wrote:What is everyone talking about? How are SMB and SMG relevant to Blockland being before Minecraft?
I'm not trying to say Blockland is bad or anything, but this seems like a strange claim.Technos72 wrote:But I have some good information why blockland is still good.
First off Blockland came before Minecraft.
I dont mean that. What I mean is one or some of you are calling Blockland a rip off of minecraft when it came before it. I'm not saying new games are always better than ones before. Why call blockland a rip when minecraft rolls in? It has some things minecraft doesn't, like sandbox style building if I got that right.
