I meant that in a good way. Those are all awesome, including the new creative mode. I'd like to try it.

But I'm still not sure about my downloaded minecraft that I got at the minecraft website. As I mentioned above, I downloaded it and it failed to log in since I didn't purchase it. Then I saw the "play offline" button next to the message saying it failed and I was playing it, later on I saw a message that didn't affect the game at all saying "unlicenced copy or logged in from another computer".

First I was very excited about this new update,but now I'm pretty disappointed because I found a LOTS of bugs.
The most annoying is the light bug.(image)
If you are looking on the top of it,there are too much light(just like a glowstone).
Sometimes torches don't light up area and even they are doing that,not all blocks are lighted up.Sometimes even lava don't glow...
You're always spawn in a forest,in rivers are more clay than sand(that's good),If you hold a click not all time they doing they effects(if you jump and put blocks under you,you need to click repeated)...
I found a very strange bug with charcoal.I was trying to move it away from a chest and strangely it duplicated the item about 10 times.
Dungeons are very big and it's easy to get lost in them.
And a lot of other bugs...
Except them I like the update...

Dungeons were meant to be bigger, if you didn't know. Of course this is sort of meant for finding bugs, so good.

O.o I found lots of Enderman on creative but 0 on survival...
And on survival i run around at night on hard O.o WOOT

I'm very well pleased with the 1.8 Pre-Release.

I'll post a creative map shortly. It's in progress.

Its called: Teh Blawk Mahke' *2% DONE!*.

I've been getting ideas for something else: Griefer Prison.

Its a stronghold.

Mmm... I'm liking all of the new stuff in 1.8 so far (haven't found a Stronghold, Silverfish, or pumpkin seeds yet). The main issue I have is that the Endermen are supposed to be creepy and threatening mobs. They certainly look creepy (at least, I thought so), but they're hardly threatening at all. They're also supposed to be very rare, but they kinda... aren't.

Unless you're really close to them when you look at them, they'll stand still. Which means all you have to do is get in a staring contest with one and fire two fully-charged arrows at it. Bam, dead. And I suck at combat in Minecraft.

Additionally, them picking up blocks and making circles or whatever out of them is more annoying than anything else. The chances of them making a hole to let mobs into your house/base/castle/whatever aren't very high.

TL;DR because I feel like it - 1.8 is awesome, Endermen are somewhat awesome but more annoying than anything else.

I've grown giant mushrooms in Creative, but not in Survival yet. I know that they're pretty much mushroom farms now (1 bonemeal + 1 small mushroom = giant mushroom, which drops many small mushrooms), but I haven't used one first-hand.

I do have a melon farm set up in my base, and it's causing me no end of grief, because I have two extra spaces to put plants in but melon seeds planted there won't grow. Which is somewhat irritating.
