I played ET2 while I was waiting for this. I think Roaster is still loyal to his master, and his saying he was a coward were to hide his weakness. And seriously, I think Roaster was really guarding ET in ET3.

Head to the far right of the level where Angela gets trapped. Go through the Wurp, then go through the Wurp you appear out of again. You should end up in an area right above the beginning of the level where the chest is found.

I'm pretty sure that was already confirmed in a previous game. But just in case it wasn't, that is correct.

You should still probably open the chest, otherwise you'll be stuck with a blank chest floating over that level pad.
