I got it. Those signs near the prisms gave me the AHA! Moment.
I kept messing up at green and red's section too.
As for Qookie's spice store, I got it first time. I had to think carefully about not getting stuck!

The hints:

Good luck!How to run the assembler?
1. Go R,3xU,R and U through the cyan TP. Steer the raft R and leave it R over the ice onto the next raft.
2. When it stops: Steer D and push the prism L over the ice onto the blue timer.
3. Step R back onto the second raft and steer it U. Leave it R over the ice. Go back to the cyan TP and push the prism there through it.
4. Go to the lower right reflector (use the black TP to get there quickly) and push it U over the ice onto the raft.
5. Go around and push the same reflector L over the ice onto the blocked central raft.
6. Go 2xR to leave the pool, go around and push the top right reflector D.
7. Now slide in to push the cannon in position, wait for the next shot and leave the pool steering and sliding D.
8. Prepare the other side in the same way.
How to run the converters?
1. Run the assembler, then go beneath the water basin and slide D. Collect the two coins here, then push the blues U.
2. Go above the water basin and slide U. Collect the two coins here.
3. Use one of the outer conveyors to push the blues R (or L), then quickly push the remaining two blues D.
4. Follow and start them in the same way on the other side.
How to run the field generators?
1. It's important, that you start the puzzle on Red's side!
2. Get the coin R of Red and read the sign. The boy needs a little momentum from L.
3. Go beneath the water basin and jump D,U and L to reach the lower white timer.
4. Step onto the breaktile to solve the bonus puzzle, then push Red R.
5. Get the coin R of Green and start the sphere (and with it: the device) in the same way.
Congratulations! This is your first magnetic field. Just four more to go...
What shall I do with Qookie's spices?
1. Eat them? - No, it's too much.
2. Throw them over board? - No, what a waste.
3. So let's push them:
a) Upper one U through the yellow TP.
b) Go 2xR through the pink TP and immediately D back through the same TP.
c) Now go L and U through the yellow TP. That's it: Get the last bonus coin and exit.
