A topic to talk about the game in the Mario Party Series
The games I have are Mario Party DS, 6, 8 and 9
9 is amazing and the new car concept plays out amazing as well.
I love the mnigames and own at most of them.
My favourite minigame idea is the reverse minigame where you have to come last to win (it's an option on the bowser spaces)

Admittedly, I've only played 1, 2, and 8. Mostly 2, so I'm biased.
Having said that, I'm not a fan of motion controls and Mario Party 1 is pretty flawed in more than one way, to be honest. One of them being that trying to win against the lowest level CPU's in some minigames can actually cause hand injuries.
No, really. Anyone who's played it on an actual N64 should know what I mean. Long story short, there are several minigames where you have to spin the analog stick quickly to win. Even against the lowest-level CPU's, it's pretty hard, and the analog stick on the N64 controller is terrible.
If you can't tell, my favorite's the second. Having said that, I don't like Mario Party games that much to begin with because of how much it's based on luck.
