Slender - The Eight Pages

It is said to be a very hard and scary free game. The game is short and all you have to do is look for eight hidden pages while avoiding the Slender Man who has no face. The screen will start to static a bit when he gets close to you and once he catches you, it's game over. As you collect pages, the game gets harder. For example. Slender Man hunts you down in a harder way.

I downloaded the game and I found a page in under a minute. I think I'll play more again one night and possibly get some chills. I think this will warm me up for when I get Dark Descent and play it.

I might add that Slender also gets harder as you take time.

It sounds kinda like Ao oni . May / may not try it .

Is Slenderman a nopperabu or something ?

I don't see why Slender is scary. I think Amnesia: The Dark Descent is waaaaaaay more scary. I played it for like a month and didn't get half way through the game. Then I decided to man up and beat it in one whole night. Succeeded but a decision I slightly regret.

Oh wow, someone has actually decided to dig out those old photos, way back from the Surge times?

I love the second shot, it's a classic. Shots like that are probably the source of inspiration for the TribeTwelve version of Slenderman.

I meant plot-wise

Ao Oni = Staying away from the creature / Getting out of the mansion

Slender = Staying away from the Slenderman / Getting all eight pages

BTW is it just me or does some "YOU'RE DOOMED" music play when you see him ?

I just watched a few videos . Is it just me or does a "YOU'RE DOOMED" soundtrack play when you see him ? Though the static image of him when you're caught just looks funny

I thought he was a nopperabu (A faceless ghost) but I didn't know that . BTW Have you completed this game yet ?

Well, initially his face was supposed to be impossible to capture on camera, but now he literally has no face. So I think a nopperabou comparison is more than apt.

I think the ghosts from Japanese mythology are in general way more bizarre than anything Slenderman has ever attempted to aspire to. There's an anime about ayakashi, mononoke, bakemono and all the various japanese ghosts and it's called "Mononoke". 13 episodes and probably the best main character of all time.

Slenderman is less about being bizarre and more about trying to be menacing. Whether he succeeds depends on the author of the work that's using Slenderman.

Thanks I was wondering why he doesn't have a face

. Though Slenderman is more bizzare IMO (But then again I'm really not sure what a nopperabu does anyways , I've heard they have no face and slenderman seemed to look like one 'cause he's creepy and has no face)

I saw MNIK play this game in his video. I think I'll play it tonight or sometime this week. I'm going to see if I'll ragequit before Slender Man catches me.

Same here except after like 2 seconds XD I'm so scared. I saw this Youtuber (Who shall remain nameless but some people may know who I'm talking about) who was messing around with the camera rather than grabbing a piece of paper and slenderman was right behind him and he screamed and died.XD

That happened a couple other times too.

iI saw A video on the youtube, the player were in the bathroom maze thing, He was so scard, he was walking, when he got two ways, he saw that ssslender man isn't in any side and he said:
l"Nothing in the right, nothing in the left, I guess I'll go back."
eWhen he did:
n"AAAAHHH! SLENDER MAN!"
dHe was behind him!

ethat was a funny part.

rAnyway, I found 4 or 5 places for the pages, but when I got one, I closed the game.
heAnd one time, I said to myself:

eI walked a bit around, and when the screen started to be wierd, I closed

The game never plays the same twice. The pages appear in random places on the map every game.

ANOTHER STORY!

The same user (I'm not saying his name as he cusses a lot) was running from slenderman and he got a note from inside the rock formation thingy and he turned off his flashlight and turned around and seemed to not notice him right in front of him and the YOU'RE DOOMED sound thingy plays and he noticed him and he screamed and died. XD I still plan on playing this though.
