Interest in the Peculiar
Well, it is interesting, to say a fair bit.
I'm especially bewildered that you're able to change the game like that.

Your only little stinker that's absolutely NOT a z-bot by this name,

But sharing funky hacks on YouTube probably isn't.1) Are you posting the source code for the game? If so, that is illegal and you should stop.
First of all, this is technically (probably) not source code, because no one (other than MS) has the source. Any decompilers will only get you to an intermediate stage. It's Blitz3D code, but it's not the original Blitz3D code, if that makes sense.
I could be wrong, but I don't think there's a way to get the "original" Blitz3D code.
As for using, by hex-editing the game Caton has been able to get various funky effects, which (along with the whole "so THAT is how the game works") seems to be its own reward for Caton.
There's one practical possibility that I'm seeing here. Hex-editing for LV6 files has become a thing already, but the level editor consistently crashes if you open a hex-edited LV6 file because it's not meant to handle hex-only tiles. So, as for "usage", perhaps we could put together images for some of these hex-only tiles and the editor could be hacked to include them?
Even just allowing the editor to put two Loofs would allow a wider range of level creators to use the "ghost Loof" trick.
Overall, I don't know what to think about this far, but this is interesting.
Rest in peace, Kym. I hardly knew ya.
Rest in peace, Marinus. A bright star, you were ahead of me on my own tracks of thought. I miss you.

Comments in bold.Caton wrote:No. Why are you denying the fact that you ARE posting the code?jdl wrote:I have two questions:
1) Are you posting the source code for the game?I don't think you can unless you code the arrays and functions and globals. You aren't answering his question, actually.jdl wrote: 2) What are we even going to use all this code for anyway?
EDIT: Also, LOOK AT HOW MUCH YOU'VE POSTED ON THIS THREAD! Why can't you just write all the explanation in one single post and end this? I do support your work at a point, but please, no need to post that much.
