Let's start with the basic info about downloads:
What's your OS and browser?

If that's Windows Vista or later (7, 8, 8.1 or 10), I'd check C:\Users\(your user name)\Downloads in the first place.

When you download the editor, you will (most likely, don't remember) download a .zip or .rar file which will automatically save into your C:/Users/[name]/Downloads if you're using Vista or higher, or C:/Users/[name]/Documents/Downloads if you're using XP. That's assuming you run Firefox, Chrome, or any other 3rd-party browser. If you're running IE, it should ask you whether you want to save or run your file. If you choose save, it will prompt you to where save the downloaded file. If you choose run, it will be saved in a temporary folder. You must have WinRAR or WinZip installed to open the archive, and extract the contents into any folder on your computer. Make sure to know where you're extracting. Then, open that folder and run Player.exe just to see that it works.
