What's been going on with Wonderland and Midnight Synergy?
It's been AGES since there has been a new news article, or any sign of a new game. What's going on? Have they gone out of business? Is Patrick dead? I am REALLY worried right now.....

As you may know, Patrick has been (most likely) very busy while in the development of POTZ. It took him almost five years to finish it. Patrick isn't dead, and I don't think anything happened with Midnight Synergy. If anything, he will most likely announce it, so I suggest we just need to be patient.

Oh wow, 5 years is a long time, it didn't seem like it took that long! I guess until we hear something from Patrick I'll way just like everyone else.garirry wrote:As you may know, Patrick has been (most likely) very busy while in the development of POTZ. Anyways, I hope Patrick (not Patrick me.) makes another game after taking a break.

Patrick (Midnight Synergy) is not dead, he's busy with his life, but I can assure you that there's going to be three new Wonderland projects!
Currently one of the them has been released, but the two others are yet to be authorized.

I answered you many times previously. First, hiring people is not as easy as you think, you need to find good people who are ready to work full-time on your games. I would like to point out that in order to specifically hire (not just pay commissions), Patrick has to pay those people a full salary. If his games sold hundreds of thousands and generated a lot of money, then that wouldn't be a problem, but that isn't the case here. As Q stated, it is likely that this is a side job for MS. It could have been a full-time job previously (when making games took max a year), but considering the development of POTZ took nearly five years, it's safe to assume that he is most likely busy with other things as well (at least as of now)Caton wrote:If he is so busy why did't he hir any people to do the work for him?
So it won't be so hard for him.
