Adventure #83: Cross-Wlv Scripting
I'm opening Pandora's box with this one.
EDIT: In addition to no vaulting, I will confirm that this adventure is also beatable without any file editing.

Uploaded version 2! It has an adventure description that clarifies more about what isn't required to beat the adventure.
This change has been made to the turtle room to prevent an unintended exploit:

Re: Adventure #83: Cross-Wlv Scripting
Can you tell me what the original solution was?
IDK If this was intended but what i did is i used the Cave Dimension teleport in the turtle room, I made an entire road for the turtle of floing bubbles so i can get the color 11 key and leave with the cave dimension dialogue, Was this intended?

Re: Adventure #83: Cross-Wlv Scripting
Highlight to read: Grabbing the key and escaping using the Cave Dimension dialogue is the intended solution. Not sure what you mean by road of Floing Bubbles though.
Please hide your spoilers btw, perhaps using white text

Re: Adventure #83: Cross-Wlv Scripting
Very unique adventure as always, absolutely creative.
Re: Adventure #83: Cross-Wlv Scripting
Is duping the coins with saving across inventories intentional? XD
Re: Adventure #83: Cross-Wlv Scripting
OK I beated the adventure 100% Gold. This was amazing. The only place I kinda vaulted around was the turtle room. Not the color 11 key specifically but the package part. I wasnt sure if its OpenWA causing this bug but the bridge was getting down whenever the turtle pushes me and i believed for the most part that it was broken. I couldnt find any way to go around it. I tried the adventure in the original WA3 editor and it still happens, so maybe i did something wrong.
Can you "spoiler text" me some advice?

Re: Adventure #83: Cross-Wlv Scripting
Nope, inventory glitches aren't intentional. Pretty clever though, I hadn't thought of that.
That's not a bug, that's just normal bridge behavior. You weren't doing the puzzle correctly. A lot of people struggled to solve this part, actually.OK I beated the adventure 100% Gold. Hint 1: The turtle has two springs for a reason -- use both of them!
Hint 2: The springs need to be an L shape, for both the indigo button and the package itself.
Hint 3: You will need two Floing bubbles right next to each other.
Re: Adventure #83: Cross-Wlv Scripting
Hot damn! I didn't expect such an obscure and silly game mechanic to be used in such an elegant and unique way, thanks for the level!
Re: Adventure #83: Cross-Wlv Scripting
Truly a masterpiece, as always. I'll be looking forward to uploading my playthrough of this in December.

Re: Adventure #83: Cross-Wlv Scripting
Just beat this level and ow [meant to type wow, but], that was really fun. Took me forever to get the initial idea (and then took forever on everything after that in varying capacities), but what a rewarding level. (Plus the secret was cute.)
Thanks for the wlv!

Re: Adventure #83: Cross-Wlv Scripting
If you leave the area while in floing bubble, next time you return, that place will be unwalkable tile forever. But i guess this wasnt intended
Re: Adventure #83: Cross-Wlv Scripting
I did it! I completed it with no vaulting at all. This was amazing. I also did a 17 min speedrun but i can do a 15 min one
Re: Adventure #83: Cross-Wlv Scripting
Here's a "Glitchless" Speedrun. https://youtu.be/Xyn8idLVnak
I also got 6 min time on glitched, but i ran out of space and i dont want to record it again ResidentSleeper
Basically you trigger the bridges in the turtle room the normal way, you get the target item and use it to dupe the coin in the Cave Person/Flash Crabs room. Duping it 8 more times, allows you to buy the rainbow key from the dude that's on your way, and unlock the 3 tollgates instantly going for the star right after
Also using few other glitches Q-Spell/MultiBlink to save time

Re: Adventure #83: Cross-Wlv Scripting
Oh yeah, I did come across that glitch while building the level. I think it's much easier to just use the Grow (which is the intended way), but I will accept this Floing bubble glitch as a valid strategy as well.
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it! It means a lot to me that someone enjoys this adventure enough to speedrun it.
Re: Adventure #83: Cross-Wlv Scripting
This is quite a hard adventure that I believe not a lot of people here can complete blindly I wanted to make a walkthrough but BRRRRRRR I REALIZED I AM A SPEEDRUNNER (I forgor!!!!!!) So I did a speedrun instead.

Re: Adventure #83: Cross-Wlv Scripting
Excellent adventure, MNIK! Another fine example from what's undoubtably the year of the highest quality Wonderland adventures to date. I thoroughly enjoyed the bizarre quirks in this, and how if it weren't for that mischievous little hacker, this actually would be a quite straightforward little adventure! xD
As you know I played this some time ago, but I only got finished uploading my solution to it today! Though Nasko's speedrun's cooler, I tried my best to see all of the dialogues (although I'm sure there's probably an easter egg hiding somewhere I didn't catch).
My video solution:
Part 1: Rounds 1&2
Part 2: Round 3
Part 3: Round 4
Part 4: Round 5
And, of course, a special little bonus video: Part 5: Easter Egg
Many thanks for this absolutely incredible quirk showcase. Star setting as always.
