Idjit challenge- VOTE

Post by freightrain » Sun Apr 04, 2004 5:19 pm

Sorry for not posting this first thing today,
my sister had a project to finish.

But now it'stime to vote!!!!!

Now voting ends on 04-09!

Just a little history lesson:
The American civil war ended on 04-09-1865!
And, the current crown prince of the idjits was born on 04-09-1989
This has been a short history lesson!

Now remember you have three votes.
Please list them like so:

1.) Wonderlander name, level
2.) Wonderlander name, level
3.) Wonderlander name, level

The winners will be listed on the fourteenth,
just in time to collect taxes
Idjits RULE!
Crown prince of the Idjits. -Freightrain

This is really tough, every level was good.

I have one favourite, the rest I will have to go back and play again before making my mind up.

Back soon.

You know Maureen, they say great minds think alike; I was just coming in here to post almost the same message.

I chose my winner the minute I saw it, before even playing it. I'm now off to pick a 2nd and 3rd place.

freightrain, I'll be voting in a wee while. :)

Yeah OB, bit they also say; "Fools seldom differ"!
Which one do you think applies to us?

After much deliberation, here are my votes:-

First place............ malcdelsol ........ Idgitismalc

Second " ............majic1................ Idjitmajic1

Third " ...........popo ................... Idgit Follow

The reason I chose these three is simply because they made me laugh so much...... were really well laid out and planned.

I have made malcdelsol number one but, it's really Jan his wife who's the winner.

I must add that every level is a "winner" to me.

Here's my vote

1. Malcdesol (JAN)--------------Idjitsmalc --------------Hilarious. Just press down.
2. Sharon M.--------------------Crush-------------------Can tell who the real idjits are.
3. Malcdesol---------------------Idjitgrabber------------Very Puzzling...Made an idjit out of me!

All were great, with varying degrees of idjitcy. Two I couldn't finish, and 2 were non exit. (I think) That narrowed my choices alittle. Still very hard!!

OK, now that MAD's stuck her neck out, I'll weigh in too.

First place..............malcdelsol..................Idjitismalc

Second place.........majic1........................Idjitmajic1

Third place............janetgalle....................Idjitjg

I selected malc's wife Jan's level as #1 'cause it gave me one of the best laughs ever in Wonderland. I've played it through at least a dozen times just to watch it again and chuckle at Stinky with his tummy gone all funny. Majic's level got my 2nd place vote because it made MY tummy go so funny! Actually had to stop playing this one for awhile, I was so dizzy. And I really loved playing Janet's fast-action little ditty.

I enoyed all the entries, and it really was hard to pick my three favorites. Thanks to all of you guys for these great levels! :D :D :D :D :D

This was not easy.

After removing the non-playable levels (sorry BigZ  ) and any level that I felt was too much like a normal level, I was left with only a few to choose from, but all very truly Idjity (?).

Here are the votes of the Bearsland Jury:

1. Robbie ---- IdjitRobbie ---- What in Heaven's name was that all about??? Winner by a mile!!!

2. Freightrain ---- Iamanidjit ---- Had me jumping about like a total Idjit. This was brilliant thinking from a very clever young man. Great things going to come from you I think, Freightrain.

3. Malcdesol ---- Idjitsmalc ---- The clock in the middle of the level to give more time just killed me completely. Very funny Malc. :D

1. Robbie ---- IdjitRobbie ---- What in Heaven's name was that all about??? Winner by a mile!!!
 ... Hi Old Bear, I was wondering about that myself. I'd had it in mind for quite a while to make a level that keeps the time, not as a serious level, just something fun to try out & hence my very incomplete Idjit timepiece level. It was quite funny really (sort of) - when I was setting the starting positions for the boulders & then playing the levels to test the timing of the splashes I realised I'd need something to time against. My watch had run down, my mobile doesn't show seconds, I considered setting my windows clock to on top always... then it hit me... turn on the in-game timer (change to Homer Simpson voice)... Doh!

Seriously some great levels, I quite liked DGs offering & some of the others (haven't got the names on hand) were breathtaking esp the ones that couldn't be completed - amazing timing efforts - should have been modified & entered - I didn't this with a minimum of fuss just to complete them. Will check out & get some voting in.

Hi Wonderlanders,

Jan and I played each of the levels a few times before jointly agreeing our top 3.

First Place....... Idjitfollow ...... popo

Second Place.. Idjit-jg........... janetgalle

Third Place..... IdjitRobbie...... Robbie

Obviously we excluded the 2 BIGZIPZ levels due to self-disqualification
 , and based our decision on purely the 'silly' factor. To be honest,
some of the levels were just TOO DARN GOOD to be Idjity :!: :!:

Good work by everyone who contributed in this competition

Hello Campers!

Here are my votes...

IST - MALCDELSOL - IDGITISMALC - Hilariously funny

2ND - FREIGHTRAIN - IAMANIDJIT - had me running back and forth like a mad woman

3RD - MAJIC1 - IDJITMAJIC1 - had me going round in circles

I loved Robbies 2 minute timer but thought it was much too good to be idjity, and if judging by visuals both of Bigzipz would have won - he can do amazing things with the editor.

Everyone's entries were good and we all deserve a prize - I'll have an easter egg please!

I read a review about easter eggs, and one they reviewed, and it said if you ate the egg and the bars of chocolate that were inside, it would add 3500 calories to you, which is a pure 1lb of fat, almost 2 times the recommeneded daily intake of calories for a women! blimey!

Hi all,
I'm not ready to vote yet, but wanted to say that all the levels submitted were great! I laughed so hard on some of them, I had tears in my eyes!

In case you don't realize it, those of you who didn't enter can still vote. The judging is open to everyone! After all we Wonderlanders are getting a chance to choose our Lord, Knight, and Squire Idjits of Wonderland! How often do you get to do that?

Let me take this opportunity to say, BigZipZ yours were great! Just wish you had put in a way to finish them. Please do vote though! Freightrain would love your input. :D

OB, your "Not Too Hard" was very hilarious! Was it an entry? Freightrain laughed hard enough to put a stitch in his side. If it isn't, at the least you and BigZipZ will get an honorable mention from me! :)

I'll be back with my votes later in the week. Great job everyone! :D

Well I only want the egg, you can have the chocolate bars, so I won't get so fat......or perhaps I'll have two eggs instead and to hell with the diet!!

Hey Bigzipz,

Thanks for the link....I've been on weight watchers for almost 3 months now. I've lost 36 pounds so far, 20+ more to go. It looks like a good site for some added assistance!!!!!! It's awfully hard to concentrate on exersizing when there are so many unfinished levels to do!!!

Thanks from me too Bigzipz!

I was always a wee skinny until I gave up nursing five years ago.
Not getting enough exercise is the biggest culprit for me!

Food isn't a problem as I am only allowed to eat certain things because of a medical condition.

I would love to shed about six pounds.

Hey!

What about us starting a slimming thread?
Maybe we could give one another some encouragement along the way

Anyone interested????

Maureen.

I used to have no trouble keeping my weight down but since I started with Rheumatoid Arthritis I've gained about 10lbs, it doesn't help that the medication I'm on has to be taken with food so I seem to be eating most of the time. Mind you I still only weigh 10 stones (that's 140lbs for you Americans) but I'm only 5' 4" so I don't know if I'm overweight or not really.

I'd love someone to help me lose about 14lbs - without having my legs cut off! :!:

Thanks for that Sharon :), but no, it wasn't a genuine entry. If you remember the original thread at the time, I was having a tongue -in-cheek swipe at the person who told Malc he/she had better things to do with their time than have to 'think' to solve a puzzle. :P

Could be he/she has never come back because they are still trying to work my level out.

Tell Freightrain I'm glad it gave him a laugh. :)

And on the subject of Freightrain: Guys, we're taking this young man's vote thread a little bit off topic here. Whoever suggested a new thread for discussing diets gets my vote. :)

First and second place was easy for me to pick:

1) IdjitIsMalc
2) IdjitFollow

I've temporarily placed my third-place vote on

3) idjit-jg

But forgive me if I end up deciding to change my vote at the last minute...yes it's that hard to decide. :?

Too bad Bigzipz's levels were disqualified, they would've easily stolen the show!

Good job to everyone who's submitted for the contest! We should hold another one sometime!

Don't underestimate yourself Mark (or are you just fishing for compliments   ). They are good and you know it, mate. :D :D

The amount of time and thought you put into working out the timing in some of these levels is admirable. I know I'm not alone in thinking this.

Keep your clever levels coming, we all love them.
