Fried Chicken Poxs'?

Post by laura n. » Thu Jun 30, 2005 5:25 pm

If you all see Qookie running around here looking a little ... well ... strange
it's because I've "fried" her about 100 time in The Void/Treadmill.
those "electric tiles " get me every time. :x :x :x
Poor little thing 1st the poxs, now this good thing she's a good natured little stinker.

The girls are doing fine, thanks for asking. Emily did have a chicken poxs vacccination so she's really got a pretty mild case, No tempature, etc..
I'm not to sure about Qookies medical history, but now that she's had the poxs we know she most likely won't be getting them again :D Just hope she doesn't give them to the rest of the stinkers. :D

When my two had chicken pox, the vaccine was brand new and risky, so I didn't get it for them. They had full-blown chicken pox. It sounds bad, but I was making sure they got exposed to it so that they would catch it when young. It's much more dangerous in older children and adults. (That's what responsible mothers had been doing for ages, before the vaccine). I'm glad that they worked out the kinks in the vaccine, though. It definitely makes it easier on parents and children.
