My mom and I saw that there were some terrorist attacks in London , That's so terrible,What's this world coming to ????!!! We're hoping it wasn't any where near you and that you're all safe and ok!!!!!

I think that Liz is from near London also. We are thinking about all of you in the UK at this terrible time and praying that all of you and your families are safe. When you have a chance, please check in and let us know how you are doing.

yes, when i heard that on the news this morning when i got up, shorty and i were very concerned about all of friends in that area..we are all hoping that everyone is ok...please check in when you get a chance to let all us know that everything is ok....please...
We are fine thank you! My mummy lives in Central London - near Victoria in the thick of it - she is fine too. She won't be leaving her house or going out today that's for sure.
I have so many friends working in Central London - still waiting to hear from a couple of them. Phone networks are down so hopefully I will get responses from them soon. A couple of them may have to sleep at their offices tonight as all the train/tube/buses networks are closed down.
I can't believe it - I am just glad that I am a mum now and no longer have to travel in to Central London everyday for work.

Watford is about 17 miles from Central London - so we are OK. My brother lives and works in Central London but luckily was not affected. All the buses and underground trains are stopped.
I went to Luton airport today to meet Joe, my 19 year old son who was on a flight from Amsterdam. He said they were all searched twice before they were allowed on the plane. There were armed police all over the airport at Luton.
As some of you have PM'd me to ask, I'm ok too (Thank God) I was away for the night and was traveling back today - what a nightmare. Am home safe now - not affected much (cept the traffic was chaos) and all my friends and family that I know that could have been hurt are ok. Couldn't belived my ears this morning - what a sad day.

Kazza is fine - she lives in the middle of England. She pm'd me about a million times today from work to see if I was OK and was frantic that I hadn't answered any of them.
I hope Bear is OK - he is from London too - haven't heard from him as yet.
Just checking in folks ... I'm fine, thankyou so much for asking. I live 100 miles from London. We're very busy at work with the G8 and likely to be much busier now after this morning's outrage ... I'll be missing a few more days yet but am quite safe.

What a sad day for London. I was so happy yesterday with the wonderful Olympic news - and now this.

O/B says he's fine. I've called one friend at home and everything's OK, and am still waiting to hear back from another. Luckily, no-one that I know works in London.
Brits always recover, so keep your chins up.
