Oops on the date. Donna, I bet that you are also about the same age as I am. It seems that Donna is not a popular name right now, but it did have its run.

New question for everyone:

What are your mother's and grandmothers' names? I bet they are far different than ours, and very different that what we names our female childres.

My mother's name is Nancy, Grandma was Blanche, Great -Aunt was Edith.

Names do seem to be popular at different times. My mom was Faith and my grandmother was Mildred (I think). She was always "Granny" to us!

My mummy's name is Annie - very popular again here in the UK. My nannie's name was Lillian - it is my middle name. Again, Lillie and all the old fashioned names are coming back in fashion. My real name is Caryl (pronounced Carol)

For those who dont know me, my name is Kerrie full name Kerrie-lee

I am Canadian/British from Toronto, Ontario. The British side come from my mom Josie Bennett she was born and raised in London England and came to Canada when she was 20.

My Grandmothers (my mums, mum) is Margret Edwards now (remarried) but was Myhill and then Bennett.

Other names are, Ingram, white and that is all I know.

My dad side is all Canadian.

I am married and I have one Son who is going on 10 months at the end of this month.

It's true that most of our grandmother's names are quite different from current female names, but like anything they will eventually come back I think.

My maternal grandmother was named Mary (as is my mother, who was nicknamed Mimi) and my paternal grandmother is Eva.
