Hi Folks

Back from my week camping in Cornwall! What a wet week! At least when you're in the sea it doesn't matter if it's raining. Wednesday was the worst - it rained all day and then went on to become torrential during the night. At about 2am a wall of muddy water swept off the road and into our tent. All our clothes were soaked and muddy and sadly our digital camera was ruined (luckily the memory card was OK, so I've recovered the pics we'd taken so far).

This is a photo of Bedruthan Steps, near where we camped. The Cornish coast is so beautiful, even when it's raining.

I've just looked at the Custom Levels board, and there are 73 new levels since I went away - I'll never catch up, so apologies if I don't get around to commenting. So glad to be back!

I've also spent some very wet holidays in Cornwall, as a child, but never in a tent ! ! ! ! !
Sorry to hear about the camera - that's a real bummer.

We always used to stay near Penzance, either at Praah Sands or Sennen Cove. They are some of my very best memories.

Lots of levels, huh? You'll just have to play faster

Glad your back Liz. Sounds like a vacation you'll never forget.
I'm sure the boys had fun, they don't care how wet they get.

I remember camping once,(in a tent ) everytime I'd cook somthing to eat it would start down pouring so we'd grab our food & sit in the truck to eat
We could have stayed home, parked the truck in the drive, turned the sprinkler on & had our meals there

Funny now, not so back then.

Welcome back Liz .. it's a stunning part of the world even when the weather's poor, pity the weather turned just as you set off.

Hi Liz, Good to have you back, I went to Crater Lake in Oregon one summer and it rained the whole time. It rained so hard there was a stream running under our tent.

Too bad you had such a wet week, but the picture is beautiful. Unfortunately, we don't get to see things like that out here in the desert.

You were missed by all, even tried to do some of your levels but failed.

I'll keep ploddin' on btw, a lot to do right now.

Hope you left the rain in Cornwall, I want to keep the sunshine here for the rest of August.
