Yes I said riding in the rain it was no fun coming all the way from Atlanta and on I-20. It hurt like heck, especially on the legs.! I had on my jacket on my rainsuit but I didn't put on the bottoms as I didn't figure it would rain. I worn the rain pants on the way there and it didn't rain.

On the way back it rained like cat's and dogs! :D :) 8)

Even harder after we reached Carrollton!

I don't mind being out in the rain as long as it is not lightning, but riding a motorcycle is a different story! :D :)

I just sold my house a month ago. I hired a cleaning service to come in and completely Spring clean the entire house, they even washed the walls. It was several hundred dollars, but well worth it. The house sold in a day for more than our list price and the new buyers told my agent they couldn't believe how clean I kept the house. Hehe..they will never know the truth!

Anyhow, you may want to consider it. It's well worth it.

Not very well ! ! ! ! ! !

We went lightly over the top on Saturday because one of the realtors was coming.

It may be weeks/months before the place sells - and as we're selling it almost fully furnished, when we do come to move, it won't be too bad. Every thing we keep will go into storage, and we'll set off in an RV. The size of the RV will depend on the success of the house selling project ! ! ! ! !

Hi Cathy,

I haven't been about much recently because of the convention, so much to do and not enough hours in the day.

Got all my groceries and booze delivered last Saturday, just got the meat and veg to buy in now.

Once this is over I'm sure everything will get back to normal, hope you are well dear.

Hello every one - I'm here too, although we have to go out in a while. Just got home from Curves, so need to shower first.

We had an internet outage yesterday, so couldn't talk, but I managed to get a few levels played. I'll never catch up, and as so many of them are too hard for me, I'm enjoying the kids levels, but I'm dreading the point when they're all done. Still got a lot of Carolyn's stored up and waiting.

Not sure about the tequila - I'd be asleep before the first half glass was finished - and then you'd know if I talk in my sleep ! ! ! ! ! ! I know I dream Wonderland.

Mo - you got extra food? I'm on my way to the airport - make sure there's plenty of chocolate - dark, not that wishy-washy milky stuff. I'm not fussy, just make sure you get it right the first time

Really wish I could join the N.I. gathering, but I guess us poor chickies will just have to stay home and make the place look nice for when the travelers return. Someone's got to do all the work

Hi all, I'm here too. Wishing I could hop a flight to N.I. too. Guess we all will have to dream about it and hold down the fort here. I'll help with the work, Ann! :D

I didn't say I was going to do any work - just implied that some one might

That's fine with me, Laura and Gen. You can do - I'll watch (and eat chocolate).

btw: just so we understand each other - I didn't mean the W-word, as in "re-arranging"
I thought some of you more clever types could make beautiful new levels (heavy on the green with a nice British accent)
to welcome them back

I'm here, too. :D Sorry I couldn't get on earlier, we're having internet problems too and the AC went out. I had to go buy and install a new one. Freightrain and I have been very busy with that most of the day. We've got more of the "w" word tomorrow as well and the tech is coming out to find the problems with the cable, so I don't know how much I'll be on tomorrow. I'll try to help hold down the fort while so many of our numbers are partying (wish I was going too). :)

   Yes, but the cable man is coming today, so he can sort it out. My signal for both internet and TV are fluctuating. Hopefully, it'll hold off raining and thindering long enough for him to do something. :? Wouldn't you know it? Hot, hot , humid weather for days and the night before the tech is supposed to come, we start getting thunderstorms!

AAAHHHHHHH.... I couldn't take it :!: :!: :!: No TV, Internet or A/C AAAHHHHHH...... that's me screaming for you Sharon
I really hope the tech gets it all sorted out for you TODAY :!: :!: :!:
I live in a hot & humid climate also, I'd be very "cranky" without my A/C, I certainly hope you and your family survive.

Thanks Laura. :D You're sweet. Freightrain and I got a window unit in and working. Now we're not so hot. :D We're waiting on the tech now. I hate the "in and out" connection. Very frustrating. I hope he gets here soon.
I'm with you though. The combination was not conducive to calm tempers.

I hope the tech gets things fixed quick, I live in a small town & when our cable acted up it took them 3 weeks to fix it  That was after I called them EVERYDAY, by the end my temper was anything BUT calm

I live in a small town also.

If you call them everyday, they mark it some how.you go to the bottom
of the list. One of Neighbors works for them. He said they don't have a
lot of techs. So its first come first served.

     You three are so funny. :D
The tech came out and he actually knew what he was doing. :D I've had problems off and on for over a year and had other techs out. They all checked the easy things, said nothing was wrong and left it at that! This one came out, looked at the TV and saw the problem, went out and checked all the usual things. No real problem there, so he went further. Lightening had struck the pole the main junction for my neighborhood was on several years back and took out the power company's transformer. The lines coming down the pole going underground to each home all had signs of burning on the insulation about 2 1/2 feet above the ground. He did a temporary fix and put in a work order for the other crew to come out and run a new cable underground to my home. My signal is much better now and will be even better once they put in the new cable. :D
Hopefully things will be much better. :D
