Secret Feature A, clue 1

I have read all the posts about the secret feature A, clue 1, but can't get anything to happen. I gather that I have to go to the options menu, and then turn the music up, wait a bit and then turn the sound on? Someone said something about doing this with the number keys, but the only way I can change the music and sound levels is with the enter key, and they go from "off" right to "high". What am I doing wrong?????

You need both clues to understand what you're supposed to do. As long as the sound is on it will work, but you're not doing the crucial thing it tells you in the other clue.

Try to find clue 2. It's much more satisfying when you find them yourself.

If you can't wait, there is a place you can go to see all the clues at once, but I'm not giving it away too soon.
