Avatar Gallery??

This question is primarily for Patrick, but anyone can chip in.

When we were having the debate over avatars or signatures, you mentioned that there could be a gallery to post your avatars in for anyone to use. I see the gallery option in my profile but there is only my spider and your Loof there, and no way to add to it that I can see.

Are you going to make the gallery available for posting? I have a few things I'd like to put in there for people to use if they want.

Here's one I made earlier, as the saying goes.

Good idea Poops. Perhaps Shorty, Pam, JG and any others (sorry if I left you out) would like to make some for other people to use too!

Sure... I can add avatars to the gallery. If you have one to add for everyone, just post it on this thread. When a bunch have collected I'll transfer them to the gallery.

Tasha, if you save the gif to your hard drive you can use it as an avatar now. I've sent you a PM about saving them. I see you've copied the URL to put it in your post. That will only work until Patrick moves it or until I delete it, cos then the URL will change. Until then you can carry on using it like that.

The avatars are for anyone to use so help yourselves. I will be making more when I have the time. I've only just learned to make them with an online tutorial, so I still have a long way to go.

Thanks. It really is a working clock, it was my entry in the Creative Wonderland Competition. It hangs by my desk.

I just added the blinkies to make it into an avatar.

To make these I am using the old Paint Shop Pro7 and Jasc Animation Shop3. (My current version of Paint Shop is #10)
You need select/size your picture, add pixels to it in Paint Shop, then transfer it to your Animation program, and reverse everything you just did. (Makes sense? NO!) But it is not too hard.
You need alot of patience, a steady hand, and good eyes.

My first attempt at a proper animation. I must have taken thirty screen shots to get the few right ones to make it.

When I get my breath back I might try it with something else.

I have not attempted a full animation yet, I've been thinking (yes, dreaming, too) about it, but haven't found a chunk of time big enough (while I am awake) to do it yet.
You just continue to lead the way, I will slowly follow.....
