ADVENTURE 9 - Goin' Home

Post by JeffH » Sun Oct 09, 2005 10:31 pm

HI WONDERLANDERS!

I am so sorry about this post! The Boulder factory changed to a box factory, somewhere, somehow, and I didn't even notice it until I downloaded what got posted and loaded it back into the editor!
Now, I know that somethings can happen in the editor, but I tried 5 posts over the last couple of hours and finally went home and put the levels into my laptop, went to Barnes and Noble and logged into their wireless and then it finally posted correctly, otherwise, it kept changing to either a box factory, or a box factory with a boulder on top! IT'S FINE NOW, but I'm sorry for the inconvienience it was totally unintentional!

Cheers, JeffH

And even though THIS adventure has ended, more levels, models and houses are to come! =JeffH :D

The Final Chapter of the ADVENTURE series!!!
Stinky and Loof find each other in a forest outside the entrance to
WONDERLAND!

More Sign fun and 1 model!

Thank you for all your great comments about the
previous adventures! I'll keep on modeling and
putting them out from time to time.

CHEERS!
JEFFH :P

The model was fabulous and very funny! The signs are a good laugh too.

I'm stuck at the box generator at the moment. Don't see how to do this without getting smashed by a box coming out of the generator. Will try some more, then ask for hints.

I'm stuck at the same place Lizzie - can't think what to do with that spare boulder can you?

Another one that's stuck at the same place -- if anyone figures it out, please let me know.

Jeff, the models were terrific & loved reading all the funny signs. Now if I could just finish the level I'd be very happy.

Make that #4 stuck at the generator! I can get it started and move one box without being smacked, but what do you do with the next box, there is no way to use it to make a bridge?

Sorry Liz,

It's fixed now, and the mistake was unintentional.

I know and I owe you all a coin or two.
The Box Factory should have been (AND WAS on my editor) a boulder factory. It's fixed and posted now.

And here was me thinking I was so clever solving it without using the generator. :? :? :?

I guess I got lucky too because I solved it without the generator! I used the tnt barrel and the box to build a brige across the water in an area only needing two steps! Had to get the TNT out instead of blowing up the Kaboom with it! Sometimes my brain does function!

Very clever Donna and Bear (I assume that was your way too Bear). I studied this for ages trying to see another way - I am so dense    :x

You are not dense Lillian!! You have a brilliant mind as you have shown time and again in the levels you make! I just have my moments when the  comes on at the right time!! :D :D

WTG, Tasha. :D

Same as me. I did say it was dangerous. :D :D :D

You're not dense, Lil; you just did what the others did and saw the 'obvious' way to do it which was to use the generator since you probably saw it first. I, on the other hand, saw the two spaces first and looked for something to fill them... then I saw the generator. On reading the sign, I assumed Jeff had 'broken' it on purpose so dismissed it as a method to cross.

Just a simple case of how we all look at these problems in a different way.

Jeff - thank you so much for fixing this one.

I really wanted to be able to complete it - and now I have.

Unfortunately I didn't "see" the alternative way either - although curiosity
got the better of me - and YES, it's a very dangerous way ! ! ! ! !

I enjoyed this level, Jeff! I did it the way you intended and also the way Bear and Tasha did it. Stinky took the short route and Loof took the longer route. Great fun, Thanks! :D

Thanks Jeff for posting the revised version. :D :D

Like Gen, I got Stinky home via barrel and box (I hadn't seen the 2 step bridge option previously  ), and Loof home by boulder bridge. Stinky's route was dangerous   but we ended up with just one kaboom circling the flowers. When I pushed the barrel into the water, it became an invisible barrel over at the left-hand wall and blew up a wandering kaboom!

Marvellous fun - do give us more when you get time Jeff!

I had that in mind as the #2 way, as if the way isn't obvious people can usually find two ways out of a puzzle. I'm glad my goofs didn't spoil it totally!
