GARDENGAMES

Post by JeffH » Fri Oct 14, 2005 7:35 pm

Stinky give entomoligical tour of a Wonderland Garden!
Warning: This level has Bugs!

(New models)
DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS:

Download model zip file: People have their zip's or WinRAR set up many different ways! What might unzip in the right place on one computer might unzip to other places on others (Expecially with WinRAR).
So I've packed these files with full directories:
C:/Program Files/Return To Wonderland Deluxe/CustomModels/JeffHx2M
HOWEVER, the only FOOLPROOF way around it is to open your CustomModel directory and then the .zip and open to the JeffHx1M directory and drag and drop that folder into YOUR CustomModel directory directly from the archive! Also all the .jpg files inside that folder are needed as textures for the models! Keep them there!

Cheers,

JeffH

PS: What's with the ranking system here? I just noticed I've upped a grade and don't know how I did it! Where do I find out the ranks and how you get them. As retired USAF that kind of stuff interests me!

Not everyone will have installed to the 'default' directory, Jeff. Your instructions are going to confuse some people here.

Thanks but what's the numbers MEAN? People bumped off or flowers picked? And if I confuse people then they're not half as confused as I got when I got explained things by an I.T. expert. The drag and drop method will work no matter where they have RTW installed.

Cheers,

LMAO.

It's the number of posts made on the forum. It's totally unrelated to how good one is at the game.

Agreed! :D

Great,

I just got e-mailed and told it's the number of posts!
That way I blog the site with my spam and I'll have no life in no time!
(No, I wouldn't do that...I'll earn my rank the old fashion way)
Thanks Bear, I saved the list so I know.

Hey Jeff,
I have been enjoying your model creations and levels. You are a very
creative modeler.
But..........you are making downloading your Model zips waaaay too complicated.
Bear is right, you are going to totally confuse alot of people here.
Why didn't you just do this: see zip file

I tried doing it the way you suggested Jeff but didn't see these awesome creatures until I used JG's zip file. (Sorry Jeff but thank you Janet!)

Jeff - is that you ? ... Cool level - I got the models to work with Janet's zip - I'm a bit of a technophobe, loved the rainbow spider.

Thanks

Nice easy fun level, Jeff.

The rainbow spider in his web is excellent. Hate spiders but really enjoyed that.

Unfortunately I haven't been so lucky with some of your other creations.
I've yet to see the houses in your Ghost Town.

This was great - loved your funny signs, too.

What a fun level. Those models are wonderful, especially the rainbow spider - you're a very gifted model maker.

Jeff - just wanted to follow up - Bear gave me some extra help (over and above his hint to Lillian) and at last I have your wonderful scary Ghost Town houses.. You are very good at all the models. We just have to learn more about opening your files - or wait for JG. Thanks Janet
