Hi all,
Wonderland dreams......good idea for a new game Patrick.
Amy, my condolences on your loss.
My dear father-in-law passed away just a few weeks ago. The family decided that as part of his "send off" (his term for funeral) that we should all put one small item into his casket. Items ranged from wooden matches (he loved a good fire at the lake), an empty aluminum can (he was an avid re-cycler) a golf ball, a small jar of nuts and bolts (he could and would fix anything) a fishing lure, and many other small remembrances too numerous to list here. And there were lots of pictures made by the grandkids and great grandkids. littlejg wanted a picture for papagreat that was from Wonderland. Here is what we came up with.
Wonderland has a way of soothing the soul................

I used to dream wonderland,When I used to make levels and play them more... before I got burned out!!!!
I used to always dream up levels but when I woke up I would only remember a part of the dreams so I wasnt able to make the really cool levels I dreamed up....
One time I was dreaming that I had to move boulders to the right places and I woke up thinking I had kicked a boulder off my bed to the wrong place and I was searching all over under my blankies for that dangy boulda until then I realized it was just a dream

Trust me, they are NOT to be messed with

Mette, please don't be giving Patrick any ideas for any more baddies, I have enough problems with the baddies he's already come up with.
As far as dreaming wonderland, of course I have expecially when I was deep into playing WSW & doing the stinkers rescue. I really had a great time one night sliding around on the ice while Qookie pushed boxes at me. I woke up really really stiff the next morning, I guess thats what happens when you try to "skate" at my age.
Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.

You should see my impersonation of the Lion - "Stick 'em uuuuuup"
I love the movie, in case one couldn't tell by my sig
Hallmark makes a couple of Oz ornaments every year and when I started working for them in 2001, I bought them every year except that first year. I have to go and find all the ones they made before I started working for them. That will be an expensive habit. For most of them, they are at collector's value and there's at least 30 or so that I need to get. It's at least a $1000 last time I calculated. Oh well. When I have the money, you can bet I'll get them all! I was able to find the collector's edition of the movie on dvd. I have it on vhs but we don't have a tv and so our vcr isn't hooked up. (atchoo) I just sneezed and both kids looked at me and smiled. little turkeys Anyway, the collector's edition came with 3 dvds and the day I got it in the mail, I watched it and then watched it again. I'm pathetic that way.
If you want to be somebody, if you want to go somewhere, you have to wake up and pay attention.
As for dreams of Wonderland, I usually try to run from things in my sleep, so I wake up because of charley horses. Although, I haven't had them for a while. Thank heavens. Those suckers hurt. Almost as bad as continually getting killed by baddies. Anyway, when I fall asleep, it's usually ice or just regular ground. Ice is the best. One night I dreamt that all the baddies were on the inside of the ice and they were all ufos'. I'd skate by and they'd kill each other. That was a nice dream and the end bonus score was awesome too! I might try it sometime.

I've been up since 3.00am UK time. I couldn't sleep anymore. The only thing to do was GET UP AND PLAY !!!!! Which I did. Got through four or five custom levels and tried a few more. Sadly, I hadn't dreamt the solutions for the ones I didn't complete.
Guess it will be the same pattern tonight/ 2moro morning...
Jacks.
Well, I don't think I've been dreaming of Wonderland, YET. But I do find it keeps me awake at night. Sometimes, when I go to bed, I can't sleep because my mind is going over and over a level I'm stuck on, trying to find a solution. And other times, I wake up in the middle of the night and just have to play. (I don't remember any dreams, but then again maybe that's the way Wonderland dreams unfold.)
This is a very popular thread. There must be a lot of dreamers out there.
I seem to recall reading a thread where it was suggested turning dreams into levels. (Wonder if Stinky could push Loof down a slide?? Nope, they both explode.) With so many dreamers, it explains the why we have so many great levels.
Hi Minnie Mo Mo, and all!!!!!
Just thought I'd stick my head in the door and say, I used to dream of Wonderland back when we were first making levels. I'd wake in the night and have to get up and draw a pic of my "dream" so I could make a level later. I always found it hard to come up with a new way to keep it fresh so I needed all the help I could get!!!
I'm all moved and settled now, so I'll try not to be such a stranger---- maybe dust off my level making shoes not that there is a kiddy section!!!

Yes, I'm a donkey......
and I'm purple.....
and I am Polly, Minnie's little sister.
Well, last night I had a dream that I was creating a level.... Yeah, right, like I would just do that !!! That's why I know it was a dream. The image is still with me. I don't know, maybe I will play around with it and see what happens. Can you do that with the Level editor?...
