I am new here. I really am an ol'grampa - I am 84 years old - 85 in Feb. This game is excellent for the mind and dexterity! I found this, played it and loved it. I have finsihed Wonderland, Classic and 3/4 way through with Deluxe. Secret Worlds will be my next challenge. What a spectacular game. I am old but definitely not senile. I've got 3 daughters and 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren.

And now since I have just discovered this forum, I shall download some custom levels.

I just read there is an ol'gramma here!! That is what inspired me to join! How much fun is this!

A very big welcome to you Ol'grampa! You should fit in well around here since you love the games! This is a super friendly family forum and you are definitely welcome. You are probably our oldest member but that doesn't matter since we welcome all ages here! Feel free to ask for help with the games or for things in general as assistance flows freely in wonderland. Enjoy the custom levels as well.

What a fantasitc welcome! I truly didn't expect it. I don't know if I can be a true nutter as I am not around as often as you people, but I am enjoying it so far. There are just so many custom levels; I doubt I'll ever be able to play them all, but it's great to know they're there for the picking.

And to Liz whose Dad is 86! I am constantly busy. I have many interests - gardening (me, too), writing, photography, painting (of which I've sold a few), remodeling (currently remodeling my house) and, of course, computing. I come to the computer as a relaxation, and Wonderland is one of those things for me. Your dad, Liz, can do this and do all his usual things. You come here in your time away to relax! It's been several days since I've been around these parts. And what fun to see people talking to me here! New friends - we can always use more of them! Technology, we just keep getting smarter, and look what it's brought us!

Thanks everyone!

WELCOME

So glad to see you here, Ol'Grampa - you just prove the point
No one is ever too old to play games and be young. What a shame it is that
so few people realize that.

It's great to meet you, and I hope we see more of you in the future.

Thank you to Shorty and Ann, too. That is very kind of you. I know I am 84, but in my mind I am still in my 20's; and so I stay young ----- forever!

Hi :)

Post by SM » Sat Nov 26, 2005 10:25 pm

I am pretty new to this site, living in Miami, and really LOVE this game :) Never seen anything like it!

The custom levels are really very admirable! What ingenuity and expertise! Not only are you guys who make the levels brilliant, but you're also really lovely folk judging from the kindness I've been shown from the few I've known so far.

I have been amazed almost continuously at the challenging and fun-filled levels I've enjoyed. Also at the unselfishness you guys show, doing these levels for folk to enjoy!

Many thanks to everyone who makes custom levels, to Midnight Synergy and all who made these games happen, and to all who maintain this fun site :)

Hello SM - WELCOME to Wonderland. We hope your stay will be long and happy.

It's nice to see you posting on the "Meet and Greet" thread, but it would be even nicer if you included some information about yourself.
Who are you, where are you, how old are you - all that good sort of stuff ! ! ! ! ! !

Hi SM, Welcome to the Wonderland board from another Floridian. All of us here are addicted to the game. I think at last count, there are close to 4000 custom levels to challenge you, so it will keep you busy. Also feel free to join us in the various chats.

Did you have much damage from Wilma? Up my way, we just had a lot of rain and wind, but no damage.

Again, Welcome! :D

A big THANK-YOU to :

Shorty (Kymberlee) for such a lovely welcome. You surely sound like a beautiful person inside and out!

Ann 3120, thanks for that BIG welcome! I'm a female living in Miami who seems at present to be doing nothing else but enjoying the custom levels you all make!! I have to drag myself off from the computer with very great difficulty to do little annoying things which have come up, such as answer the doorbell, move out from the path on oncoming hurricanes etc.

Gen, thanks for the welcome. It is much appreciated. Wilma was a nuisance mainly because I had to do without Stinky and Loof for about a week with power and phone outage!

Thanks for taking the time to write me that welcome note, Laura N. :) You all make me feel so welcome :)

Thanks Drushing! My beady little eyes have just spotted some levels by you in Mette's homepage which Davimad so graciously sent me and which I am really delighted to check out! Big thank-you to Mette and Davimad for this.

Thanks so much again to all you custom level creators. There are no words to explain how much I've enjoyed your levels!

Good wishes to you all!

Hi, from Montreal, Quebec (Canada) - my name is Carol - I am 61 yrs old, married 42 yrs, 4 kids, 7 grandkids - totally addicted to the Wonderland series. Have them all including the new Platinum and yes, occasionally I let the grandkids play it. Fortunately am retired so can spend all the time I want in Wonderland. Am currently working on RTW, Custom - having a hard time with some of them tho and don't see any hints for custom screens.
