Actually I was thinking about that the other day, I seemed to be the only one from norway, and I don`t think that there is anyone else from sweden. Now I know that I was wrong.
How long have you and your husband lived in the USA?

Birthday - Jan. 6. It is the 12th day of Christmas - some denominations call it epiphany. I really did not understand any of that until I was an adult where people started letting me know it was that day. Whether I fully understand or not, I do think it is pretty neat.

Ok. Took me a little bit to find the thread! Birthday is Oct 1.

So I just turned 25, my mom turned 50 this year and my dad would have been 52. Would have but he passed away a year ago the 27 of this month. So, kind of a hard month for me between doing the postpartum/pregnancy thing and missing my dad. Oh well. A day at a time, right?

it's also a Brazilian Holiday "Dia de Tiradentes"

Friends of mine used to joke that it could translate to Dentist Day, but that isn't what the holiday really is. Tira: form of tirar "to take off or to remove" and Dentes: "teeth"

I don't know what the holiday is really for, though
