HOW TO INSTALL AND OTHER TECHNICAL ASPECTS
I'm getting some e-mails with questions like "how do i install" or "what does this and this do?".
Just to point out:
1. To install, you must own Return To Wonderland Deluxe, and the update must be put into your Deluxe directory. See http://www.midnightsynergy.com/other/howtounzip.htm for help
2. The editor pages have been updated, so there are explanations on how to use the new features there as well.
Cheers, have fun!

While it seems most of the faithful have been enjoying the game, I've been racking my brain over a "memory access violation" all day.
I ended up finding some new driver updates for my graphics card which took hours on snailband & made no difference at all.
This probably won't be relavent for anyone purchasing the game for the first time but if there is anyone else out there as slow as me... I downloaded 2.06 but never loaded it in
It fixed the problem right as rain.
As well as solving my issues with Mark's Force Field 250 level & Pauline's Adventures of Stinky in Wonderland...
.........................................................................................
Also, again probably a rare occurance but instead of putting the files/internal folders of the Plat300 folder into my RTWD folder, I put the Plat300 folder there instead which will make a difference right Pat - if this is not the case, just trim this post below the dotted line.

PS It's possible the Platinum version does the 2.06 fix as well. I'm not sure as I did the 2.06 upgrade & transferred the Plat300 contents into the RTWD folder at the same time.

platinum update

Not really sure what you mean by upgrade page. If you mean where can you get the platinum edition upgrade from then look at the Newsletter thread, the link is in there in the Newsletter.
If you want any other upgrades there on the same page where the platinum upgrade is.
If you mean where are the new levels for the platinum edition, then they are in the Custom Levels folder in another folder called Platinum Set. There are only 20 levels.

step 1 says"go to the upgrade page of your game" I can't get into anything that looks remotely like that. As i said, I have read the instructions. Must be a technical pointer I have missed. andyes, i clicked on'right here'. I don't have a reading problem, but I'm not very technically adroit. thanks for taking the time to respond. I'm still stuck
go to this page of the newsletter:
http://www.midnightsynergy.com/newslett ... /page2.htm
and look for thw what's it going to cost me section. There is something that says, " this update can be downloaded right here, " and the words "right here" are a link to the download.
I didn't put a link right to the download, in case Patrick doesn't want it here.

Annie, when you load RTW, in the upper right hand corner it should say what version you have. Once you find that, I would go to Midnight Synergy's home page and you should be able to do all the upgrades that need to be done. Prior to the platinum release, the latest version was 2.06.
If you want to be somebody, if you want to go somewhere, you have to wake up and pay attention.

The most common error users make while installing is not installing the patch into your current deluxe directory. If you install it anywhere else, or simply run the .exe from within the .zip file, you'll get the MAV error.
