Addin zip files to lv6 files?

Post by wars51 » Wed Jul 19, 2006 2:26 pm

:( I have downloaded a multiple # of LV6 wonderland puzzles but have not figured out how to add an existing zip file that is listed along with the LV6 file. I tried unzipping into the Customlevels directory and then moving the LV6 file to the directory the zip file creates as in:
C:\Return To Wonderland\CustomLevels\Darkgreen\DarkGreen.zip and
C:\Return To Wonderland\CustomLevels\Darkgreen\LILIE407.LV6 the DarkGreen.zip files contain a bunch of jpg files but none go into the wonderland puzzle of LILIE407.LV6???

Hi wars51,

That's because the DarkGreen.zip is a Custom Texture. So you need to unzip it into the CustomTextures folder, so you'll end up with:
C:\Return To Wonderland\CustomTextures\DarkGreen\"the 13 .jpg files"

The level (the .lv6 file) just has to be somewhere in the CustomLevels folder for instance like:
C:\Return To Wonderland\CustomLevels\LILLIE\LILLIE407.LV6

If you get it right, you should have the DarkGreen texture when you play LILLIE407.LV6 (and not the wood one).

Good luck :D

I'm happy to hear you got it sorted out :D . As you might have guessed it's the same principle with backgrounds, models and houses, just make sure you pay attention when you download the .zip file so it ends up in the right folder ;) .

Happy wonderlanding

I searched through the helpful hints in the begining of these sections. But did not spend enough time I guess with the correct one to solve this problem. You've been great and I hope others who run accross this problem appreciate it as much as I did. The puzzles with zip files are the best...
