Can anyone help. I can't save a game. I get a message saying "memory access denied" it was working OK earlier today.

No I haven't change anything. I have reinstalled the demo, that was the same, then I uninstalled it again and downloaded it from Reflexive, again the same.
Try creating a new player, then play a game and try to save it.
I had no problem saving my game in the demo, of course I have the real deal now, so I don't remember what the demo let us do. You could also locate your player file and replace it with a backup or delete it altogether.
Have you tried to save it in another slot. If you try to reinstall the demo again make sure that all your old files are off your pc. You woulds have to go into your folder......windows explorer/my computer/C:/Program Files/Wonderland Adventures, If the folder is still there just delete it. Sometimes your windows uninstaller doesn't get everything.
Just giving you a few ideas Peggy. Good luck.

Thank you all for your help. I uninstalled the files from my computer, then I dowloaded the demo again from Midnight, that worked OK. I then downloaded from Arcade Town and that worked fine, I downloaded from Reflexive and the programme came up with the Memory Access Violation again, and the programme would not start. So I uninstalled Reflexive, and the other two downloads are working OK, and still are, I am pleased I tried several sites for download, so that I could pinpoint where the problem was occuring. This has been driving me batty. I am pleased now that it is working as I so wish to buy it today. But I think I will keep checking each for a while before I do.
You are all so kind to take the trouble with me. I hope one day I can help someone.

Sorry to be a nuisence, but do I have to uninstall the Demo version when I buy the full version? I don't want any more problems to arise.

If I were you, and you know you want to buy it today, I would get the full version from Midnight Synergy. If you think you might want WSW too you can get 20% off each game if you buy them at the same time. So you can get the two of them for $31.92 instead of $39.90. That's got to be a good deal.
Forgive me if I'm wrong but I think you should be able to transfer the player file over from the demo version so you won't have to start from scratch.

Thank you Pauline. I think I will just buy Adventures at the moment as the exchange rate is very good for us here in the UK and I am not sure about WSW as I have RTW.
I think what you are saying is not to uninstall the Demo! I don't mind starting from scratch again as I was testing out the Demo again and everything seems to be working fine now, thank goodness, I had the idea that I wouldn't be able to buy it, so yes I will be buying today.
I must say that this is a good forum, I do belong to a few mainly X stitch ones, but I have given up stitching now, as I have lost interest. I think I will blame Wonderland for that as I can't leave them alone. I think my favourite is Adventures though.

Peggy we try to help. Glad you got it figured out.
Since I bought RTW I also haven't picked up my cross-stitch. I have one I started and it's been well over a year since I've touched it except maybe to clean. I used to sit and cross-stitch all the time. I look at it once in awhile and think I really should finish it.

Well Monica and all of you I have bought WA and it downloaded and played OK. I am scared to unistall the demo though, I think I will leave it on there for a day or so, as I don't wish to corrupt my game again.
With X stitch I have completed a lot over the past 30 odd years, but now I start them only to fling them back unfinished. Too much dedication is needed, having to spend hours each day on them. So no more.
