This sucks on ice.

Post by Technos72 »

Today my computer randomly removed all stuff under my documents. But I can still access them in Local Disk - Documents and settings - administrator - administrator's documents. But also my compuer looks like it's new. So just about everything was reset. I can't even access Windows Media Player because they want me to choose settings but when I finish doing settings, it comes up again. It won't let me on WMP until I find a way to break this infinite loop. So yes. This sucks on ice.

There's a program, with lets you "Floaing your programs back in time, and the computer".
Does this help? look in control panel.

Okay, I'm going to warn you one more time.

If you want to post, only do so when you have sometime to contribute other than one word. You forgot what it's called? Check the Control Panel yourself instead of just letting us know that you forgot and leaving it up to everyone else to do.

And no, the lazy argument isn't a valid excuse, I'm lazy too (incredibly so) and it's not like I can't be bothered to check it.

That said, before someone asks, I have checked, but I'm on Windows 7, so it works a lot differently. Pretty sure it's System Restore on other Windows OS's, though.

 YES!

System Restore has rescued me from this heavy situation! Now when every time this happens, I can always use it and don't have to worry about it! Thank you
