School stuff

I start exams right after my birthday which is on the 25th. There are five days of exams. 26th in the morning I have my english exam, 28th at 11:00 I have my science exam, and my automechanics exam is to be announced. I stay home when there are no exams on an exam day. And groundhog day (the day after exams) is called "turnaround day" and theres no school day for me that time. So I'm having three or four days off during the transition from january and february. Then after all that comes off it's up to semester 2 where I'll be dealing with History, civics, careers, and math. I like math. Better get studying!

OBTW I'm in grade 10.

I know my midterms take place at the end of this month, not sure exactly when.

Yesterday I made my grade 11 course selection. I have to take an english and math class. I picked

College English
College Math
Hospitality. Also known as cooking. I'm going to like it!
Computer Science. This is very good for me since I know alot about computers
A business class using technology. I just picked that.
Gym. This is different from back at grade 9. I had health classes in the gym course but this time there is no health stuff. It's all about fitness activities.

For my exams, I know I have formal exams for science and english which means I have to take these exams on Exam week. My other exam automechanics is not formal and I'll be taking it in-class and not on Exam Week.

I'm done my exams and all finished semester 1. I think I had a mix of greatness and badness on them. I can't believe tomorrow (which could be 13.5 hours) is the start of semester 2 at my school. With History - that would be my grade 10 geography - I don't have to be stressed alot with geography work like I did back in Grade 9. God that was alot of sheets and paperwork each day. One time I had over 8 pages of geography stuff but all of it was not paperwork. I had some time to walk around the school and see the classes I'll be in by checking the class number on my semester 2 timetable.
