Randomly I found this way to make a 3d model,animate it and all starting by 0.
I think that's the way used by Patrick because it's looking like wa models.
This video make it look so simple to make...
Can you do that before watching this?

I would never be able to make a smooth-looking animation.

Heck, I can't even model nice-looking levels for Super Mario 64.
