I dought ET got so popular just because of the theme, though. Rethink your plan. *shot*

I would go a second back in the past whenever I get in a fight so it would be like cloning myself.

But then there's the issue of there being 2 mes for the rest of my life. :3

Actually, it wouldn't be like that. Here's what happens:

1. You can in a fight. Future Yous come out of nowhere.
2. When the fight is over, the Future Yous take their time machines back to present time.
3. Later that day, you use your time machine several times, going back to the time of the fight and traveling back to the present when you're finished. Repeat this step several times if you want more Yous during the fight.
4. Continue on with life as if nothing happened.

Yes, I'm a time travel geek.

But your past selves would use their time machine to go back into the past when they get to the future, which is your present. Then, when you return to the present, you would be the future of the past self, therefore having only one remain.

But you will have to go further back each time, because if you took it from the past, went to the present, then went back it wouldn't be there because you took it already, so you will have to go back a little bit every time to get it again.
